  1. Diane, you’ve been so instrumental in getting me out of my head! I didn’t paint along with you, but I went back to a sheet of circles I’d done a bit ago, and tried hard not to overthink doodles 😊

  2. “I’ve never seen a color just jump up and run off the page.” 😂

Im in the US and am quite jealous of your cooler summer!

  3. Diane, Your videos have given me the freedom to enjoy the art I make now! You've helped me to not try to measure up to other people's expectations (including my own) and to know that whatever I'm working on (even if it appears to be a failure) is actually on the way to becoming a really unique picture and a pleasant surprise. You've helped me unlock my creativity and to not seek perfection the way I used to look at it! Thank You!!!!! Thanks for being you!!!!!

  4. These doodles are gorgeous. my daughter also gets panic and anxiety and she’s taken up painting, of sorts, even tho all she can do right now is put down circles and make her own color mixes. very calming stuff!

  5. Loving your videos, Diane….thank you so much for bringing us calm, colour and inspiration …even when you don’t feel 100%.
You mentioned about finding a decent white pen…..my favourite to use is the smallest / finest size nib from Posca, which is the 1MR for very fine lines.
There is also the 1MC which I have only just seen on their website . That tip looks to be slightly rounder than the 1MR.
I didn’t know about that one until I went on there to check to make sure I was giving you the correct info.
They are really unbeatable in my opinion.
    All the best 🤗🤗

  6. I'll make you laugh now Diane, I met HRH Queen Camilla on Thursday, she arrived at our humble little Wednesday club in a blase of pomp and splender, she was lovely and took the time to speak to us all,she even sat down for a cup of tea , we were asked if we would paint something to show her what we do,no pressure then, my friend painted a bird with feathers sticking up on his head, when HRH reached us John my friend said its a self portrait she looked at him and said 'oh Yes' , 😂 she looked over my shoulder at my wildlife scene and said' I like your hedgehog ' the men in my group fell about laughing, and Ive been teased relentlessly , I'm going to change all my' friends' Diane and may come to live in France. I love your circles I would make some coasters out of those, try beetroot juice for your migraine xx☺

  7. ❤🧡💛💚You, Diane, are engaging and I find your "work" an invitation to freedom. Thank you! 💚💙💜🤎

  8. I get so much from my patron account. So relaxing and instruction valuable. I dont use facebook but the rest is wonderful

  9. You are my go to for inspiration and relaxation, just what my tired mind needs. Thank you for your daily contribution 😊

  10. Love this tutorial! And, also find your conversation, while painting, to be extremely delightful. Thank you for your work and willingness to paint for those of us who need help.

  11. After watching my Mom suffer with horrid migraines until she found the right meds, I too, started having silent migraines, and it is very unnerving in a way that is hard to verbalize while my Mom looks at me like "What are you complaining about?" It does wipe you out even without the headache part.
And if I had to go off to an island I would take paint and The Hitchhiker's Trilogy of 5.

  12. Now I know not to throw out the dying pens but use them for scritchy linework. Great use for them. Thanks again Diane. I think my friend would really enjoy doing this one with me. She complains all the time she is not creative and I think she would get into this one.

  13. Like your different techniques! Ive done some of them by just doodling around. Im trying to do different types of watercoloring instead of just copying what others do. Thanks for your video,!
