The Greenfingers Charity Garden, designed by Kate Gould, is lush and green and ‘provides a peaceful, interactive and uplifting space where life-limited children with complex needs, their families and carers can come together for play, relaxation or peaceful reflection. Set over two levels, with a lift and sloped walkways, The Greenfingers Charity Garden is an accessible space for people of all ages and abilities.’ Over the last twenty years the organisation has created 56 outside spaces for the children and their families who spend time in UK hospices. It reminded me that our own Make-a-Wish Foundation includes extraordinary volunteers too.
