Peppers may need some food when they don't get enough nutrients they can finish their process and rather begin to rot and its maybe because it has so many to produce which is lovely.😊
My garden is in survival mode. It's too hot to be outside in Florida.
The only one enjoying the heat is the bugs, so I think you were brave to go outside and endure the humidity. You are getting a harvest which is a gift in itself considering how hot it has been in Florida. I am soo jealous of your roses!!!
