    FYI – I came across a UTUBE channel the other day that I think might be helpful against your slug problem. Joe & Di’s Allotment & Kitchen Gardens was making an all natural insecticide using Rhubarb leaves & water – that was all. He specifically said it was good against slugs & since the leaves are poisonous, you must get as well get some use out of them. Then throw them in the compost bin. Your plot looks nice.

    If it doesn’t rain I find days like that so nice to garden in. Most hinges will find a way to survive without us 😂. I find plastic tiny bits even in the compost we bought by the truck load, the only truly good compost is the stuff we make ourselves. I hope the beans do well for you ❤.     Good job Gemma! Can't believe how quickly the weeds are growing all the time. It's a constant battle! My squash are growing well too, but I planted them on top of my compost bin and there's a bumblebee nest started in there. I don't like them much and it's stopping me doing my normal jobs. 🐝🐝🐝Happy gardening x
