  1. Stop it there will not be a strike it will get settled at the last minute. Also don't try and scare people about the UAW contract's coming up. Those will get handled to.

  2. From East Texas, Thank you again Kris for another great video. Your show is top notch!
Is any of this or anything else a surprise anymore?? We here know its not and why it isnt. Y’all be aware and stay safe out there.

  3. Being a union member ive been through this several times. Most is just pandering to the crowd in support of their cause.

  4. The drivers are already working overtime. This isn’t expected. Good reminder to find local sources for as many items as possible and to get ahead on essentials they need to be brought in (like meds).

  5. Im currently working on the road, left all my stuff at home and am in and out of hotel rooms almost every night for the next several months.

What are your suggestions? Storing food and water is hard because i have lets say. 1 rear seat of a pickup truck free for personal storage.

  6. I am a systems thinker and see the long reaching impact of both obvious and subtle connections. I rely on mental mapping to sort out the complexities. Thank you for this info, and also referring back to other videos that take a deeper dive into the material.

The looming strike further places a lot of companies and people in a precarious position, so I am definitely paying attention. Thanks for filling in the gaps. I am fascinated with supply chain management and transportation, currently and throughout history.

  7. Screw unions. They haven't been needed in a century. It's just corruption, greed, and laziness.

  8. Federal Workers can not strike. So the USPS will be open and shipping. UPS strike may give the post office the boost it needs. Just looking at the positive side.

  9. Amazon needs to be unionized there is no way someone should be delivering in the middle of the night someone might get hurt

  10. I live in a rural area. All our Amazon packages are delivered by UPS. 2 day prime shipping already isn't a thing. It normally takes about 5 days average.

  11. With so so many small medium and large ltl companies out and around who are currently operating under their own capacity abilities that while in the short term some troubles will occur and prices may increase in the same short term the increased competition should keep price gouging to a relative minimum

  12. We have a nation of addicted online shoppers. This is a good thing coming.Time to limit their purchases,or triple the fees.

  13. You might want to save UPS. The US mail is very sketchy, FED EX is not going to take up the slack without customers suffering. Regarding UPS, they made me pick up my 75 pound package because delivery driver personnel would not do their job. Imagine that, I pay for delivery to my door, everytime. That happened at least 3 times with UPS. So, UNIONs, get your workers in check. You don't want to see them get replaced by AI. Regardless, UPS is a provider of employees. Bottom line, the economy government and homes need UPS. Some workers are not worth the fight, but the majority of reliable workers are.

  14. Some of what he says may be relevant but as in his other video from a couple days ago, he often does not have the correct facts. For instance, In his last video, he claimed that the southeast United States was experiencing the worst drought in years. The facts: We have had record rain since February. I live here and can tell you that many of us, except the farmers, would love a week of sunshine. This video fails to link the general trucking industry to the possible UPS strike. There are other carriers that will instantly fill in the gap until it ends and loyal customers come back to UPS. As for the supply chain, UPS, believe it or not, is only a tiny part of the shipping industry. This also does not take into consideration that most transportation is done by local and long-haul trucking. As for being dead in the water, our company will simply go back to using the old terminal-based system. Truckers will bring it to a central point, and then local truckers will deliver it. This video is almost total BS. He sounds like he wants to sound much more informed than he is. Again, UPS is NOT the only carrier in the country.

  15. UPS is a perfect example of corporate greed! They pulled in nearly $100B since the last contract was negotiated despite paying leading wages for the industry. Their employees are not asking for anything they haven’t earned or UPS can’t afford. Call UPS and demand they take care of their workers and keep our supply chain moving!

  16. I used to work for UPS over 20 years ago in their IT Department, lots of good people. Hopefully the upcoming strike will be short. It is also an opportunity to test our overall supply chain to see what breaks and how much slows down or stops. I still work in a very large supply chain organization and hopefully this won’t impact us too much.

  18. Husband works for UPS…we are preparing as much as we can for the potential strike

  19. Bring it on! Those who have felt the winds, those who have listened to the quiet voice of the Spirit, should be ready to shine the light of Christ …the final chapter has begun.
