Add this herb to your garden! #gardeningtips

I can’t get over the sweet smell!

This plant bloomed before all of our other plants on the farm! It’s been blooming since spring and the bees are STILL feeding on it!

Other great things:
1. The stems hold up beautifully in a bouquet
2. The plant is a perennial! We’ve been adding more perennials to our garden and this is one I’d highly recommend!

One thing to keep in mind is that it’s in the mint family and does spread. You’ll want to make sure you manage the plant size if you’re planting it with other veggies!

ABOUT US: We are Alex and Elaina, a couple in our 20s who are currently living on the 3-acre farm in southern Pennsylvania where Alex grew up. We have a garden, backyard chickens, and build or fix anything that we need to. We still work corporate day jobs, but are working to eventually leave the 9-5 lifestyle in favor of a self-built, debt-free, homestead on 6 acres nearby.

We upload a YouTube video every week and post daily on Instagram!
