Hi friends! I’m Jennifer, a fifty-something wife and mother of 7 children ages 9 – 25. We are Catholic. We homeschool. We cook from scratch. We farm cranberries. We drink coffee. We advocate for Down syndrome awareness. We are loud. We are chaotic.

Here I’ll share vlogs about all these things, what I’m doing that works and what I’ve tried but didn’t work. I hope to encourage you in your journey through motherhood, homeschooling, learning to cook, and growing in your faith through it all.

  1. Your channel is one of the more interesting videos I watch. I have seen so many boring channels, laundry, cleaning, etc. It becomes repetitive with the same content over and over again. Your recipes are awesome and your kids are so sweet. Thank you for sharing your family life.

  2. Love your videos. Peter mentioned all of the smoke in the air. It has been terrible in western Wisconsin also.

  3. I loved the variety in this vlog. Maria was so sweet to help you relearn the game. And that precious Hi Mom from Joe was priceless. Sorry about your bumblebees. It is all so interesting! Jennifer, I would buy from your baked goods over just about any other bakery! The hot dish looks delicious and hardy! Hope you and your family are having a great week.❤

  4. Was watching your latest video. Can you please make sure your sweet girl Maria puts her seat belt on. During one of your videos , maybe she has the waist strap on, but it is very visible that there is a shoulder strap for her. A lap strap will not save her from catastrophic head and body injury. It also does not set a good example to your children and to the wider community that watch you. This is not hate but genuine concern.

  5. I am curious if bear have been worse in Wisconsin this year? In our area of Tennessee there have been a lot more sightings in town than normal. You are so graceful in the way you answer questions/respond to comments.

  6. It’s good to support a local business like thst bakery, you’re correct! I grew up in smal business and had my own. It’s all I know. I really feel good about helping small local business. We need to help them keep their doors open and be there when we need them.
    I love your videos.
I guess the bears are after the bees food source(?) since there’s no honey there.

  7. My husband has about the same response to new recipes and it’s always a good surprise when he loves it. He’s definitely a creature of habit!

  8. Beautiful Video! Those naughty bears! Hope you don’t have any more bear 🐻 trouble! Joe’s note to you was so sweet! What a fun time to go evening fishing! Nice fish! Chocolate chip cookies looked delicious! Love always learning about cranberry farming! Such fun days for you all in the summer!

  9. Quick tip for taking capsules… looked like you had trouble swallowing the capsules…. When you take capsules, set them on your tongue and take a sip of water look at your toes with your head facing down and your chin tucked before you swallow. This will cause the capsule to float to the back of your mouth and when you swallow the capsule will easily go down without any issues. It really helps! When you swallow a tablet, take a sip with the tablet and look up at the sky before you swallow. The gravity will cause the tablet to fall to the back of your mouth making it easy to swallow. Hope this helps.

  10. I say. F the haters
Great vid guys. Sucks about the hives, looks like you’re well on your way to a good crop. Jen, try this. After you crack your eggs for consumption, rince the shells and set them upside down to dry. Next day, when dry, throw them in a ziplock and hand crush them. When you add the cracked up shells at the very bottom of the stem of your garden plants, it acts as a deterent to worms and gives your veg a lot of nutrients for growth. You can also, incorporate the smashed shells to the water after they have sat in it for a bit. Works great esp for the chewy worms. Cuts them off at the stem so they can’t climb. Just my two cents. Stay well guys 🇨🇦

  11. Hey momma do what's best for you and your family at the time you are doing it. Life doesn't have to follow the same path all the time. Love your family and your heart!

  12. Can't wait to see how that carrot tape works out! You should get a load of mulch to put on your weed fabric to hold it in place.

  13. I find the cranberry farming information so interesting! Why do you need both honeybees and bumblebees? And what happens if the bear comes back and gets into the honeybees? Will the bee renters charge you for the hives?

  14. Jennifer and Warren, I love it how you guys reuse old products to make new products. My dad would do that. He made a cabinet from an old tv and made drawers for it. My dad and mom gave us the cabinet for our anniversary one year. I find myself using old things to make new things. Like father like daughter.

  18. Lol My husband has Good junk piles, He calls it "Useful junk" i call it Take it to the Dump junk, He will be crying when we downsize to a Bungalow in a few months time … Great video thank you for sharing

  19. I just worry about your daughter, I don't believe since I've watched youe channel she's eaten more than a spoon of healthy food. Worried mother of a daughter

  20. Well 3 days ago I opened a can of chili to go on our hot dogs, today I made homemade chili! As well as meatloaf. I had 3 pounds of hamburger I needed to use. Go to your pantry and get some beans and plant them. Black beans, pinto beans, lima beans, black eyed peas, what ever you have. When you need to thin something like carrots, use scissors and just snip them next to the ground. Then you wont disturbe anything
