  1. Great trick with the plaster, I will remember that one so thanks for sharing. Your potatoes looked yummy Emma and I bet they tasted good too! Hard work payed off, everything is looking lovely and green and lush in your beds there.

  2. Hello Emma, Those are some very impressive potatoes the most amazing vibrant colors with perfect skin. I am a big fan of the "Whack it in method" of gardening! Even the pumpkings are climbing. Sooooo happy for you have a great week God bless be safe

  3. Hiya Emma yay well done girly enjoy your harvest. Blessings luv Ontario Canada 🇨🇦🐝

  4. Those potatoes look yummy. I have young blackbirds in my garden and yesterday one came in my kitchen door to tell me there wasn't any food in the pot so cheeky but adorablexx

  5. Oh wow same thing happened my cabbage plants, I saw a feather so I think it might have been a large bird digging.

  6. I always leave my potatoes in until the seeds are well developed after they flower and they get massive by then. Also they are great for loosing up clods of grass, I just turn the sod on top of the potato, they look like roosters. After 3 years in a row you need to move the potatoes. Maybe try carrots where the potatoes were.

  7. So satisfying growing your own food, are you going to do a side food channel? love to see what you make.

  8. Hi Emma, great haul of potatoes. I've put kale in where my potatoes were and also spring cabbage plants I grew from seed. Filling in with lettuce, spring onions, beetroot and beans. Always something to shove in lol x

  9. Try chick peas please never too late , next time start in greenhouse in feb, I wish I could sent you photos of mine. We need to start sowing in UK

  10. We are expecting rain today, not had more than a few drips for ages. One of my Jack be Little pumpkins has died and the others don’t seem to be climbing up as well as yours,so I’m hoping they might get going very soon. Your potatoes look amazing, hope you enjoyed them

  11. If you get many Potatoes at any time and you want to keep them for a few months try to keep dry ,do not wash, spread them on the floor in your polly tunnel on some plastic for a few days to dry and set skin, brush dry to clean then store in a paper sack away from the light .

  12. Love the potatoes! I'm having an experiment and have replanted the earlies that had small ones still on the end as I saw a guy who got a second harvest!

  13. You can plant a second crop of potatoes, Autumn lettuce, cauliflower, chard, spring onions, pal Choi, carrots , B-road beans, garlic, pease, just a few as I think they like a bit of cold weather and do better. Emma they also say don’t wash potatoes out the ground till you use them as they last longer I only learnt this not long ago xx

  14. Them tatas look fabulous 😋 could be desiree or red duke of York, you could plant all sorts now look for quick growing crops could do a quick pea frame and plant lettuce underneath, fab vlog Emma 🥰

  15. I'd avoid planting the same stuff in that bed – potatoes already took the potato needs, you should get something else there. You can still put some quick growing peas or beans for late autumn. Or some brassicas for the winter harvest like swede, black radish, all sorts of cabbages (check the winter varieties)

  16. Hello Emma, I live in Nova Scotia, Canada, and in the spring when I plant my seedlings, raccoons will dig up my seedlings and search the ground for grubs. They seem to go for freshly turned earth and new plantings. Not sure if that’s a problem in the UK. xox 🇨🇦

  17. Love the potato harvest Emma 👏🏻
I’m sat on a beach in Zantie feeling homesick for my garden so loving your reels.
Can’t wait to get home and harvest my potatoes and carrots 😊
