This is how to tie your cucumber plants on a string growing vertically on a trellis..
Make sure your string is touching the ground, then gently wrap your string around the plant , Make sure to come every 2 to 3 days and continue guiding your plant up on the string..

I tie my string to the plant, with a bit of slack so a strong wind won't pull the plant from the earth. I learned that the hard way…lol
