doing all I can living in the city. Garden doing poorly and just got monthly water bill which was more than my gas and electric together. So hard but I got to keep trying. We just started getting a little rain but had 7 and 1/2 weeks with no rain. I need to grow my own food and pray that somehow I get get more land away from a city that tells me what I can and can not do. I subscribed to both your channels because you do teach. I am far from a spring chicken and it is so sad that no matter how hard I try we can't get out. House is worth nothing but we still have to invest in it to live. Cheaper than rent and it is paid off. I’m not seeing many shortages but prices are very high. I go to our local butcher for my meats and get fresher and cheaper meats to can.
I’m definitely gonna watch the sour dough starter as I want to start making my own bread.

It's insane that we can't get raw milk – it's better and if you're like us and make your own cheese (yes, even in a tiny apartment you can easily do it!) it's maddening to have to use processed milk. DON'T HATE US… but we actually like Beyond Burgers (they're meat-adjacent taste-wise, but it's a good taste). Again, before you start the dive-b*mbing, WE KEEP KOSHER. We can't have cheeseburgers, or parmesan on spaghetti & meat balls unless we use BB meat. Soy "cheese" is beyond vile, so we've adjusted LOL. Luckily, one of the benefits of keeping Kosher is we can't have GMO food, so we don't have to worry about that (we DO have to check the certification stamps on the packaging, though – SOME rabbinical authorities DO say it's allowable, so one has to keep track of the certification authorities that do/don't and buy accordingly).
Time plan and prepare.
I am so glad that we have produce places that come from not very far that we can buy fresh vegetables fruits all that very blessed. Plus I have a garden not very big but it helps with some things.

Stop being lazy it's not that hard to grow so.e veggies even I'm pots learn ti can to preserve your crops. Stick your patterns as full as you can afford. Even if it's just a couple cans a week it will add up.. learn to hunt and fish. You can't always rely on your freezer if the grid goes down so canning is essential.its easy so many videos out there to help you.stock up on rice and beans don't let many know you have a big pantry. Mo one vam be trusted if they are Hungary. Get ypor permit to carry stock up on ammo
