  1. I use a Joe Shade Umbrella that comes with a stand from Amazon when I’m in the garden. I also use a heavy duty fan with a drop cord. It keeps me cool and keeps the mosquitoes away because they can’t fly against the wind of the fan.

  2. Beautiful progress on the garden and house!! In the kitchen, how about hanging a collection of plates on the empty wall to the left of the painting over the table. You can bring in blues there…and switch them out seasonally, too!

  3. Thank you for the information!!! And thank you for knowing how to explain gardening. This summer is already proving to be a dread in Florida. Too much rain it seems like until the dry spells happen where it seems super humid and nothing should dry up, BUT the air temp is hot enough that deceitfully, everything still gets dried up. A few times I've missed watering and set my growth back as I tried to establish my plants before the drought. Now I've ordered a solar powered irrigation system and rain catcher to supply water for the system to help me not forget and to also avoid over watering

  4. Hi Linda! I’ve searched high & low for the link to your new narrow garden shed and can’t seem to find it! I love the look of it much better than the plastic ones!! Can you or Stuart please add the link again in the description or respond to this comment with the link? Thank you so much! 2 years ago I moved to Norman and have learned so much from you about gardening in Oklahoma!! It is definitely more challenging than it was in Kansas City!!

  5. This video was very useful Linda. I changed how I looked at my garden before the heat of summer. I pruned, deadheaded and weeded thinking of your tips. Thank you. 31:36

  6. I am amazed of how beautiful your front yard has become in a short time. When I first saw the property I thought, " what has she done?'. I absolutely love it! It is amazing that so much has been accomplished in light of moving, traveling to Singapore for a wedding, surgery, and moving. Well done!

  7. Hey Linda you would love my front garden I have a weeping Cherry I bought a few years ago well wow guess what it was grafted and I let it go crazy I now have a huge tree this year producing cherries you would go crazy. I have a whole bunch of daisies coming now you would love to have so pretty. Loads of peonies. Hey we put up a huge 8 ft fence in the back because have very ignorant neighbours feels great now to go out back the privacy amazing. Now in front of fence extended the garden out have loads of space now to plant more and more roses lilacs peonies . Some tomoatoes want sweet corn out back by shed and cucs and peas squash . A SAYING FOR YOU GAL IS TO PLANT S GARDEN IS TO BELIVE IN TOMORROW. THANKS FOR THE INSPIRATION TO MAKE HOME SWEET HOME. HUBBY PUTTING CEMENT SCALLOPED EDGE ALL THE WAY DOWN TONBORDER GARDEN AND WE MADE A SMALLED CEMENT PATIO TO PUT MY GORGEOUS WHITE IRON 😊TABLE SND PEACOCK CHAIRS

  8. Hey I have a great thing you would love something I purchased to look at through my huge picture window from my kitchen sitting 🎉at my tiger oak huge claw feet table I got. GUESS WHAT I PLANTED CHECK IT OUT THE BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLY MAGNOLIA YOU WOLL LOVE LOVE LOVE CANT WAIT TILL SHE GROWS CELEBRATION OF MY FAMILY MY SONS AND GRANDCHILDREN . Thanks again for your patience and different tips making home sweet home

  9. Instead of changing out the rug, I think changing out the banquet pillows and the chair pillows seasonally would work.

  10. I agree that the rusty colored rug should be seasonal- the wall art could also be changed out seasonally with the rug- it could be replaced by more blues…

  11. Your garden is absolutely beautiful and so envious , as I am unable to enjoy and reap the benefits of all the hard work I personally put into my own space due to being surrounded by neighbours who insist on using chemical Weedkiller , the spray from which is seriously damaging the plants I have , and there is very little I can do unfortunately..☹️

  12. I LOVE those blue point junipers in those pots!! Those pots they are in are absolutely gorgeous Linda!! I never see pots like that around here where I live. I’d say a trip to Columbus, I’m sure would find some but one would be a million dollars.. 🤨

  13. I like the idea of a spring/summer rug and I would go for a narrowed version since you really don't need bench to be on it, maybe width of the island. I ordered the Garden Table but I am now on a wait list so we'll see😎

  14. Switch the Sisal rug with the vintage rug in front of your banquette table. The vintage rug would look stunning in your front parlor room. The sisal will look stunning in front of the banquette. Then in the fall switch it back

  15. I understand your thoughts about the rug but I think it gives more a southwest vibe than fall given it's tonal fidelity with the bench pillows and painting and the textures you have integrated throughout the kitchen area. It looks like a welcoming step into a distinct area separate from the parlor. Either way you have the gift to make things look beautiful!

  16. Linda, your zest for new projects and ideas is just fabulous!. Linda, your zest for new projects and ideas is just fabulous!.

  17. Nooo! That rug is the jewel of your kitchen. It is the first thing my eyes go to. Love it, love it! Having another another colorful rug for summer would work. However, a solid color beige/tan rug would give the kitchen a washed out look. That is just my opinion. You are the one with great taste.

  18. I loved the behind the scenes look at your project board. It helps me to appreciate that you are several steps ahead for the channel. Your work ethic is impressive:)

  19. I live that Stuart asks the questions I want to know! You guys are so fun to watch! I feel like I’m there in the conversation. You always keep me interested! Love it

  20. Thank you for having Christmas in July and planning for fall and Christmas planters! I was thinking I was a little crazy for thinking about that but you restored my faith 🙂

  21. Hi Linda, great idea mowing around the edge of your lawn💚👍😁. I'm definitely going to copy that idea😅. Loving your home🏡 and the garden, amazing how its filled in. 100 😳. Can't imagine living in such high temperatures. Thank goodness for A. C. I guess. Sending love from Rosie 🌹O from Devon England 🇬🇧🤗
