SOMETHING’S NIBBLED MY STRAWBERRY ! | MINI HARVEST | CONTAINER GARDENING

Hot drying winds here in Yorkshire. We missed the rain, so I’m watering more, especially my little fig tree. It’s time to harvest some of my herbs and I’m bringing my few strawberries in as something has been nibbling them.

  1. Looks very cute, just enough. We just had the winter solstice on 22 June and already my black currant buds are swelling. Amazing how nature just knows. I haven't had cherries or apricots for years. We get spring cold snaps so the bees are scarce. Il have to plant more flowers to attract them. The Chihuahua still won't move from the heated throw, so I will know when spring arrives as soon as she budges.😊😊 belinda

    Your weather looks lovely ❤
We are hitting mid-90's this week and little chance of rain.
    Take care, My Dear

  3. Very hot and humid in New England at present; ground sodden after heavy (thunder and) downpours the last couple of days. Peonys totally bedraggled! I argue with birds to lay claim to a strawberry now and then … there are lots of wild ones coming, but they prefer those from my handful of cultivated plants. Admire your St John’s Wort! It appeared in my garden one year and tho left to seed itself up and decided to move on. 😞 Do have a little shrub for a touch of colour. Have a good week. Susan

  4. Maybe a squirrel? I have to put netting over certain plants or the critters enjoy the fruit before we do. Hope they leave you some. Blessings. 🍓🍓🍓
