  1. Laura, do you ever wear sunglasses outside? I don't think I have ever seen you wear any out in the sun while working. I can't be out in the sun without them anymore.

  2. I really wish we were neighbors so I could come and peek over the fence every day and admire your garden. Question: If you don't get all the plants planted that are in and besides the hightunnel, will they all winter over?

  3. I feel that whoever edits the videos should make a "to do list" for you. You mention so many maintenance things during the tour, I would forget 90% of them by the time I'd finish the tour!

  4. The cool bug on the ‘Bitta Honey’ Heliopsis looks like a type of thread-waisted wasp! Hard to tell which species, but they’re awesome solitary critters that burrow in sandy soils to raise their young, feeding them bugs or caterpillars, and then enjoying nectar as adults. (I’m clearly an entomophile 😀 ) Amazing tour as always, everything looks spectacular!! ☀️

  5. I absolutely love your garden tours! It would be soooooo wonderful if you could print the plant names on the screen as you point them out. I’m sure that’s probably labor intensive-but I can’t always understand what you’re saying. Thanks for sharing all your amazing work!😊

  6. Do not control yourself. Those blue spruce and other similar coloured plants I myself am extremely attracted to. Personally, dozens more of that colour everywhere would be spectacular. Simply exquisite x 💜🌱🙏😇🇦🇺🕊️💙💙💙

  7. That was awesome. It’s incredible to see the progress in the south garden in such a short time. I’m also totally impressed with the midnight petunia from how it started off. I’m definitely ordered those for sales next year. Oh that and the new yellow petunia ❤

  8. Just love looking through your garden. Love the flashbacks, so good to see how it looked 1, 2, or 3 years ago. I don’t know how you remember all the names of plants. Amazing.

  9. amazing garden as always, however i was thinking in the beautiful path in the south garden, as it branches out to the narrow path it would look better with rounded corders so they are not as sharp to the eye. just a thought.

  10. Hi Laura and Aaron you guys are so inspiring! Your garden is outstanding! I love all of your garden areas! Thank you so much for your Part II tour. Can’t wait for your new video!🌱🎋🪴

  11. I think the pollinator on the heliopsis is some kind of ichneumon wasp. Those are great to have around …. they are parasitoids, meaning that they lay their eggs in other insects. Great natural pest control.

  12. 54:02 Bonnie Blue spruce is beautiful and looking in distance towards house it might look nice to put one or two up there closer to house in fountain area 😊 love the tours! ❤️🫶🏻🇨🇦

  13. Love your videos 🙂 Can you tell us more about the sea holley? LOVE that! I bought a root start this year but it died within a week. I'm zone 6 in West Virginia.

  14. Hi, Laura: Totally enjoyed the tour. My husband is the vegetable gardener in our family and wanted me to ask "from the expert I watch who knows everything about gardening" — should the flowers on potato plants be removed or is it okay to leave them. Thank you!

  15. I could watch these videos 24 hrs a day. So much beauty, it's just incredible. I've learned a lot from Laura and have taken many of her suggestions and I'm thrilled with the results. Thank you Laura and Aaron for bringing so much beauty to our world.

  16. In that big space, were you are going to move the purple bud tree it would be a perfect space for a copper beech tree. Does trees are beautiful.

  17. If helpful, when Laura told Aaron that the blue muffin viburnum bush needed iron, I noticed that the hose link was sitting right there. Would labeling it something like “the south garden hose link number three” help your communication a little now that more plants are coming in? Or some kind of letter or number system that makes it easy?

  18. Hi Laura!

I love these tours and always look forward to them. I had a question about shearing back perennials. My cat’s pajamas and salvia were spent and the flowers were finished so I cut them back. I only cut off the spent blooms ……After a few days now they all look like they are about to die. The greens all gone and they look like they’re struggling. I’m wondering if this is normal? Should I not have done this? Was it the wrong time? Any advice!

  19. How the heck do you remember all those names. LOL You are a wonder!! BTW I would love to see you make that strawberry jam. I love to see what happens to some of the produce after it is picked. So proud you find the time to process some of your goodies.

  20. I’ve been watching your videos for years and enjoy it very much. Recently, you mentioned that if we type the topic with “Garden Answers” in YouTube, we could find any video with that topic. I’ve tried to find that gopher repellent video that you made years ago but I’ve been unsuccessful. Can you please, please tell me what the brand of gopher repellent you used years ago?

  21. WOW! in a few weeks, your garden has matured, amazing!! Love to walk through the garden. Can't wait to see garden tour #3.
