Bulls eye salmon Geraniums are gorgeous! I immediately wanted to order seed but the smallest amount was 100 seeds way to many for my needs so Iβm keeping my eye out for them at my local greenhouses.
Loved the tour!!!β€ Everything looks so pretty!! π About Douglas…. πββ¬ππββ¬ππββ¬π I have Kobe that wanted to do the same with my legs. Well, I would reach down and bop him on the head pretty good. Told him that's a NO NO!! I've had him now for 6 months (rescue) and he doesn't do that anymore. When he gets near now I say, Kobe be a good boy and he gets pets. Sometimes I stomp my feet… he gets its. So just bop good on the head. See if that helps. He's a gorgeous cat and you can tell he wants love but he is telling you he wants to be the boss… NOPE! The person with the food is Boss!! I'm the Top CAT π
Laura, thanks for the tour! I was wondering, have you ever snapped your garlic scapes? This is my first year trying that, and I see that you still have all the scapes on your garlic plants. I had heard from some garlic growers that snapping the scapes when they start to curl helps to make a larger garlic head.
Hi- can you please also show the wild area on the edge /ditch of your new pasture area? I remember you had some wild fruit trees growing back there. I think it would be nice to show the wild wooded area once in a while (I live in the midwest, we have a lot of wild wooded thicket areas on the property lines – its fun to see what animals/wild berries are back there)
So beautiful! I canβt tell you how much I enjoy these garden tours. I am looking forward to part 2. I appreciate all the work that goes into making them. Thanks for sharing!
Oh my gosh … that astronaut outfit is the BEST! So fun! Your favorite container near the chicken coup door is mine too! WOW! The barn containers .. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I LOVE the color! At the end of the walkway in front of the vegetable garden where there's a "bald spot" where you thought you'd put Hostas, a statue would be lovely to add interest. Your Hollyhocks are AMAZING! I just wish they had a prettier leaf.
Laura loved the tour⦠I noticed with the space that you have on those side gardens. Perhaps a conical shaped evergreen that stays fairly low would cover that electrical box.
That first bed is goals, because the color and texture of the blue/green, and the way the purple supertunias are mixed in and popping the color, all along that rock border, just made my day!
What kind of clematis is that at 19:32 on the side of the chicken coop with the pineapple fountain? How long does it hold its blooms? What can I do to make mine bloom longer. I have an h.f. young clematis and it doesn't hold its blooms very long.

I think Russell will not tolerate Douglas encroaching on his special time with his mum.
The Boom chocolata geranium with the purple arround the hartley is Perfektion! Thank you for this wonderful tour!
Oh my gosh, everything is beautiful. Love your new mascot, Douglas, looks like he is taking over Russell's job.πββ¬
What are the trees on the fence line? Are they fast growing? Is there an episode with details?
@ 13:31….white benches might be pretty there because looking toward the Hartley seems to call out for a little white this timeπ

Would you be willing to let Aaron develop the area at the 54:00 mark? That would be SUCH A TREAT to see what he can create π

Wow Laura and Aaron, everything is coming together!
Those hollyhocks! π
I would love to see you do a garden tour of your garden with your mom! Seeing her reaction to all your hard work would be precious π
@. 13:31…Or maybe some flat topped narrow long benches by Unique Stone…you know rectangular shape with fancy legs or something π
