The 1918 virus came in March, and came back with a vengeance in October. 30-40 year olds, thought to be immune, died. Time to look at history . . . Our harvests worldwide are likely to be disrupted. If the virus returns, not having been properly eliminated now, our supply chains are fragile. Distance from soil to mouth is too far . . . and interruptable. Now in lockdown, what else is there to do but to grow food? What will you have lost? If the winter is cruel, then time, seed and soil invested now will be a lifesaver.
