How To Treat Your Garden Birds

Let me show you my set up and how to treat your garden birds by making a special bird food mix guaranteed to attract ALL birds to your garden. Firstly I show you the various hedgehog houses and food I have before moving on to the garden birds food I have and my plans for turning our campsite garden into an oasis for the wildlife, treat the birds, and how to catch them all on camera.

  1. Hi dan and mazzy love the birds goldfinches esp so pretty and robins and chaffinches and greenfinches the bird food mix is a banquet for them they will love it wildlife streams are very popular too πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

  2. Fab stuff bud! With the Nyjer (you are correct with the name there BTW) seeds maybe get a Nyjer seed feeder for the Goldfinches, there's a charm of Goldies in the hedgerow around the site and if you hang a couple up the rooks can't get on those you can put'em on your pole they will definitely come to those, always check the dates on the Nyjer as they wont take old seed as the kernels dry up and they wont touch em…
I use sunflower heart feeders now all the finches like those and they don't munch them too fast as they pick bits off due to the little holes in the heart feeders…
I made A scoop made from a plastic milk bottle to fill mine up, cost's the cost of a couple of pints of milk lol πŸ˜‚…
Really good video bud, fab footage there! enjoyed that! πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸΌ…
sympathies with the hay fever i'm suffering and i don't usually get it πŸ€¦β€β™‚… Laters JP X

  11. Good on you Dan. You do lots of things to look after the wildlife. I’m sure you will be rewarded with some very interesting sightings of various species. I have a family of Great Tits visiting my feeders at the moment. Mum, Dad and the kids! They are cute little birds. Birds are like us humans in that they have their preferences when it comes to their food. I enjoyed the footage of some of the birds coming to your feeders. I think the robin enjoyed being on camera! I thoroughly enjoyed this vlog.

  12. Why not two tables? One for little titties and one open for the horrible kind. That way you’ll keep the horrible birds away and the little birds can play. …. Horrible bird station near Neil’s caravan. I’m not picking sides but …. A chess champion needs his sleep ….πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  13. Thanks for sharing another great video, πŸ‘for birds in my Aviary they like a bowl of sprouted seeds . Soak seeds for about 12-24 hours in water then rinse and drain the water and let the seed sit until it sprouts my birds love it and it is very good for them in breeding season

  14. man this was so nice to come across i watched deep digger dan so much as a kid, im 25 now its kinda crazy wishing you all the best dan

  15. Nice pictures of the wildlife you captured on your cameras. Your so interesting Dan. And mazzy. Lucky lady. ❀❀😊😊

  16. Dan .. what if a rook identifies itself as a Blue tit … will you feed it?😁
The way things are going in the world it could be possibleπŸ˜‚.. great vlog.

  17. love the videos of your birds and animals some of them i didnt recognise maybe you could put the names of the birds on screen so we can learn x

  18. Brilliant video again Dan, great idea about the twig fabulous shots, thank you. Just a request from the insects too, put a couple of stones or rocks in the water with a little bit just above water level so they can also get a drink, thank you xx

  19. I’ve put raw porridge oats and sultanas out, the birds seem to love it. We also get badgers and muntjac deer throughout the night.

  20. Really enjoying the Tail Caml Dan videos. Love the montage of the birds – so relaxing and clear. Keep the content coming. Thanks.

  21. Loved the close up footage of the birdies. I only buy suet pellets and sunflower hearts, i dont bother with the rest anymore. The birds here love them. I have one of those big bird baths and it is fascinating to watch them flap about and dip their heads. I haven't managed to catch them on film yet but love watching them. Has to be washed out every day though cause it gets very grubby.
Loving your new channel. Right up my street πŸ™‚
