They might be small & by summer flowers standards a bit on the wee side but OMG, Daphne’s pack a punch in the ‘smell department’. They are notoriously fickle & will give up the ghost if you so much as look at them the wrong way but, perseverance pays off. Plant them by a door where the flowers can be warmed by the low winter sun & you won’t be disappointed (unless of course you do look at them in the wrong way, in which case they will at best sulk and at worst just turn up their toes…)
