Mate the buxus will be suffering from box caterpillars, green and yellow things, need to spray xentari on them asap before they are eaten in full, good video 👍
Well played Pete! Its been so hot last few days!! Its a slog in the heat but when you see the end result its all worth it ❤👍
Im guessing you just charge per hour mate?
lots of jobs got done, in this heat its murder, I really hate it when a customer asks me to cut the grass short especially if its under stress, I worry it looks bad on me. I have a couple where I cut short, one the grass is very green, but its sparse because of trees, kids, dogs ect, he has it treated, but its really bad, glad its the back
Now all that short cut grass needs RAIN .
It’s hard to tell the customer to cut high or not to cut at all. But you have to go with their request. Understand your frustration.
Nice work Pete! 👌🏼
Nice work bud . £40quid grass cut make that £60 mate .😂👍
Awesome video Pete👏
Great insight into your 2 days completing maintenance visits.
Would be interesting to know how you have priced them jobs. Would defo pit that garden up from £40.00
Large gardens with seperate gardens I price them in my head individually which then gives me the total for quote per visit.
My largest lawn to strim & mow takes me 80 mins from start to finish and is priced at £80.00 per visit.
Have a great day off tomorrow Pete, enjoy the sun☀️😎 before you are back at it on Friday😃
plenty of water tilly hat have you got an old blade for shredding hedge trimmings save your decent blade for mowing
Them gardens are unreal, a bit different to the nettles and dog shiyte ones we get here in jarrow.👍
see if you can upsell him on a wider walk way thats safer say $300
I just noticed that you passed 1,000 subs. Congratulations. Just curious is it common in England to water lawns? I use an oscillating sprinkler that I use if we go about a week without rain. Maybe this is just an American obsession. I also cut my grass long year-round. The only time I cut it short is my final mows in the fall, when I seed. Any idea why short grass is the seeming standard?
Great job Pete
Like you I hate cutting the grass short in this weather. Have to give the customer what they want😄👍
Nicely done! Been watching your videos for a while now. I sorted on my own this year and it’s not been easy but loving it. I need some help on weed killers, I want something that’s going to be effective on gravelled and patio areas next to beds. What do you recommend mate?
im proud to say i was the 1000th viewer
Cool videos its good to make something fun and maybe some extra money from a job which normally might not be the most fun
To all our feller gardeners out there, take it easy. Keep refreshed. Beer at the end of the day. Pete's dad. 🍺
Job 3 front & back cut for £40? That’s a big garden dude
Nice work chaps! I used to be the same, but age and health concerns have slowed me down! It is hard work, especially in the heat! 👍
Do ever think of investing in a mulching mower especially how much heat uz get down england. Cant i ask what do you try average per day
Great job mate xx
Job 3 seemed alot of grass to cut for £40 😮
