  1. Thank you so much Linda for touring and sharing another absolutely magnificent garden. You can see the love hard work and dedication that has gone into this beautiful garden. Thank you Leslie. It has been an immense pleasure to be able to see your garden

  2. As a fellow Virginian I so enjoyed this tour. We are blessed in this part of the country!

  3. I couldn’t believe my eyes! A garden of that magnitude and so well taken cared off by just one person is unbelievable. To say that it is beautiful it’s an understatement. Every area of the grounds is covered in gorgeous plants, flowers, trees, bushes, beautiful container arrangements…stunning! 😍😊

  4. Maybe this has already been said, but this has been the most enjoyable garden tour that I have seen on your show. Your guest, Leslie, is so friendly and easy to listen to. Her garden, though very large, seems extremely inviting, and I can picture myself just enjoying a good book somewhere amongst the trees. Thank you for showing us this garden and for exposing us to the genius of Leslie Harris. I definitely will be listening to her podcast.

  5. Absolutely lovely! The gardens are so serene and lush. I love these garden tours. It must be hard for Leslie to leave it behind….as well as you, Linda…such hard work and beauty. Moving forward, your new garden is stunning…and Leslie will have another gorgeous garden in the future. Thank you Leslie and Linda for sharing.

  6. Wished I could buy your house Ms. Harris. I’m in love with your Garden❤ just want you to know that I paused the video to go in my yard and collect some sedum cuttings to edge my walk, after seeing how beautiful yours look. Thanks Linda for another awesome video ..

  7. Thoroughly enjoyed this garden…what an inspiration. We have an acre we just recently moved into and it's a blank slate I'm so inspired…and I LOVE your lawn spiral!!🥳

  8. I am lucky to call Leslie a dear friend who embraced me upon my return to Charlottesville and ignited my love of gardening (after having gardened in the tropical heat of Florida and the Mediterranean delight of California) She continues to inspire all near and far. I’m confident the next step will be a great one ❤

  9. Oh, my! Leslie, your garden is magnificent, inspirational and yet so peaceful. My garden style has matured where I now appreciate a greener and more lush landscape rather than the amount of annuals I purchased in the past. Thank you for inviting Linda to share your space with us. I wish you and your family a peaceful journey as you transition to a new place – enjoy being close to your family and grandkids ❤

  10. love the garden and thank you for sharing! FYI…my mosquito fogging service works perfectly here in Houston. They come once every 3 weeks from April – October and it takes care of the problem. Mosquitos LOVE me and will find me if I'm in another yard for 60 seconds…much like Stuart. I couldn't live outside and garden if I didn't have that service.

  11. Linda… had to jump back on as something popped into my head. When you visited Roger at his pottery making venue, you picked the pot I wanted too. It was a little round vase with the carved pale green clay leaves. You asked him to save it for you. Did you ever get it ? I am currently on the look out for something small , blue and white and round. Then I am going to try my hand making those leaves from air dry clay from the craft store. Press my leaves into it , then attach them to the vase. Why not! THe look for less,,,, haha

  12. I can see what you are saying about mosquito services, but nevertheless, at least I can sit outside for 2 weeks every month and not get bitten! Otherwise, I would not ever go outside in the summer.

  13. God bless you for allowing this lady to speak about how dangerous these Mosquito exterminators are!

  14. 40:48 That looks like a Gatsby Gal Oakleaf Hydrangea. I’d like to know what’s the tree growing next to it with the big leaves? Is it a Paw Paw tree? Good luck on the move Leslie! I hope the right gardener will purchase your house and you find the perfect home for you and your family!

  15. I think anyone who loves gardening and just grow what works …..is a great gardener

  16. Corkscrew willow and especially scarlett curls willow make excellent potted trees. Take a cutting just before it leafs out stick in a pot of soil with no drainage holes and you got a tree. Of coarse dont let it get to full of water and later on in its life let it dry out from time to time. Tho its a no no the no drainage holes prevent you from having to be its water slave during summer plus its a willow it can handle it!

  17. Leslie’s garden is gorgeous. I love how she seems very down to earth and not pretentious. Will be checking out her blog.

  18. Maybe someone else has said this but I scrolled and couldnt find another comment. Thermacell does make a portable system that you can attach to your belt. I haven’t tried it, but I think I will soon.

  19. Linda, which Workx leaf shredder do you have / recommend?! I want this to be the last year I pay thousands of dollars on double shredded mulch!!

  20. Hi Linda! Beautiful garden! Can you give me the name of the topiaries that you called chemiciprus (this is the way closed caption spelled it)? Thank you!

  21. Exactly, common sense – regarding mosquitoes. Glad they highlighted this topic though. Outstanding garden, thank you Linda and Leslie.

  22. The BEST GUEST YOU'VE EVER HAD 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 finally someone speaking about growing natives and not spraying butterfly poison!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
