  1. Howdy Robbie!👋 You keep making the Chair Garden cooler and cooler!👍 I wonder how many beautiful Chair Garden are now across the globe.🤔💕

  2. Amazing Robbie! These garden hacks are going to come in so handy this year! 🙂

  3. Hi Robbie, so strange that you're still chilled at night & we aren't. It's 74F at almost 11pm. Our humidity has been brutal too, in the 90s. My Passion Flower is thriving thanks to Gary's advice. I wanted to ask how tall you allow your vine-type tomatoes to grow in the totes. The Sun sugar can get about 7', but I'm pretty short so just curious what you do with your cherry varieties. I also don't know if I should put drain holes in the bottom of my totes or just the sides. We're getting heavy rain this month, but we're normally extremely drought dry. I'm placing holes on the sides about 1" up at the moment. I don't want to drown the plants or worms…just wanting to do it proper the 1st time because I don't have the extra money to purchase new totes. The ones I'm using are almost 16 yrs. old. They're not made to last these days, just like most every thing else in the world. Grateful for your time. Take care, ~ Covah

  4. What do you think of stringing strips of cloth (like old sheets ) & clipping it at various intervals across the tops & sides of your hoops , creating bars of shade across the vegetables to prevent sunburn?😊

  5. The strips of cloth wd be more substantial than the tulle in creating better shade – kind of like the piece of tulle you strung across the tops of your irrigation hoops, only with bands of cloth maybe folded in half or thirds to create more substantial shade than tulle could do😊

  6. I've bought the 1/4 inch tubing,1/2 inch, and the wire. I'm going to set some up tomorrow. I think that the clips could be made longer and used to strengthen and adjust the curve of the trellis.

  7. One of the things that I liked about the four corner trellis (not the arches) is that I was able to add a stake across the top to make an extension. Next time, I probably need to grow that kind of indeterminate tomato in a larger tote.
Tomato season is ending in North Central Florida. We had some lovely tomatoes.

  8. Mrs Lori from Whippoorwill Holler mentioned your channel so I’m here to check it out! ❤

  9. I want to do exactly as you do! Alas! I followed your link to the tubing and it wasn't $49.99, it is $72.96!! 😭😭 I ordered a 100' roll instead, received it and cannot cut it with scissors. 😩 Hubby cut me some lengths with his circular saw but now I have to figure out how to slice them for clamps. This is a hint for people to pay attention to the OD measurement on whatever tubing they look at. The higher the OD (outside diameter) the thicker the tubing is which means harder to cut.
Also, in order to save money I bought the 54" tulle, thinking it would be plenty for my small garden. Wrong. I need to cover my potato leaves in the ground, and 54" wide tulle won't cover the plants from one side to the other to the ground. There is a 7" gap on each side so I'll need to cut another piece and hope nothing gets through the gap. Just a heads' up.
I love these ideas. It's implementing them in my situation where I fall a bit short. 😊

  10. That is my new goal…. Tulle is arriving tomorrow via mail to protect my strawberries 🍓 maybe this year I’ll eat more than a few. Lol. Thank you. Now about this irrigation tubing….🤔🤗… that’s next! Muah 💋
