Edible Gardening

From my Cottage Garden – Flower Tour, Seed Sowing & Greenhouse Tidy

Thanks for your patience while we’ve been working on other projects recently. Thankfully we are now back in the garden and working on getting organised ahead of growing our vegetables this year. Come and have a little look around at what’s flowering in the last week of May, and join us as we sort out the greenhouse and polytunnel too.

  1. I love all your videos , but the practical ones where you show us your process are the best !
What brand is your rain barrel ? I really like it !

  2. Your garden is so lovely. I particularly like the irises.
Where did you get your shed from? It has a lot of character and I like the way the tree grows through it.

  3. Love love love lavender colours in your garden goes so nice with the whites and pink shades so pretty. Love from New Zealand.

  4. I so wish we could get Alliums here in New Zealand as easily as you can in the UK. Theyre quite hard to find

  5. In regards to verbuscum. I collect seeds every year for the next season. My white always produces white babies.

  6. All my foxgloves when I first planted were white with burgundy speckles and now all the self seeded plants are all pink!

  7. I use slug pellets for slugs. It was a last resort but I made garlic water one year and it was just too much. I use Sluggo as it is suitable for organic gardening as it is just a mineral that doesn’t harm wildlife.

  8. How do you remember the names of so many things ? Do you label or tag or write in a journal? Like once they are established

  9. So beautiful lovely! Love all the cow parsleys, poppies, roses and alliums 😍 The close ups of the bees are stunning ✨

  10. Whenever I don’t know the name of a plant i use the app picture this! You take a photo of a plant and it gives you the name! (There are also app like this for insects, birds, mushrooms, rocks and fish!)
