  1. Thanks, Emma, very inspiring! I’ve just sown next years foxgloves and hollyhocks. Do hope I can keep them alive for that long… I’m gonna try your zinnias and sow chives. Love the T-shirts, but will probably buy a bag (if I can use IDeal). They are ever so nice. Whack on!

  2. I was just thinking I need to start my sunflowers inside and then transplant because the bugs are out full force and they eat all my babies. Hoping that growing protected till they get bigger and transplanting does the trick.

  3. Hi Emma, would love to be able to grow spring onions, just can’t and oh to see a lovely row of carrots outdoors, like my old Dad used to, but the only way I can grow them is in huge pots in the P/T, however everything else is doing very well, and we’re growing 3 different melons this year as we had great success with Mangomel last year, 4 from 1plant! This year am attempting to grow sweet potatoes in the p/t, and making Comfrey tea for the 1st time too! 7:24 😮

  4. Yay, got my T-shirt!
I don’t have any other social media though.

I’ve whacked in most of my seeds this month. Always find it easier as all the frosts have gone now (I live up north in England).

I have lots of problems with slugs … but my hosta’s are ok thankfully. Although it’s odd because I know slugs love hostas 🤔

  5. Hiya Emma hope your merchandise does well and yes would love to see pics with others wearing
I’m only on ytube btw. Blessings luv Ontario Canada Thankyou 🇨🇦🐝

  6. Here in the US – I 'think' I ordered one of your brilliant shirts, but I'm not sure. My credit card and the website email says I did. The website itself doesn't seem to be as certain? But fingers crossed. We spent a lot of time this afternoon whacking in some seeds!

  7. What a great video ❤ always enjoy your vlogs. And I'm so excited to get a "Whack it in" shirt!!!! ❤️👕❤️

  8. You drill a few little holes in the bottom as well or the water dont come out.

  9. i have wacked in 30 mamouth pumkin plant seeds (Eeeek bought in Asda.. i did not read what it said on the packet) in my Polytunnel and its like they are on the Roids.. only growing pumpkins this year as they are the mamouth variety Ooops

  10. I sowed my SeedCraft Harlequin squash a few weeks ago! Also never grown it before. 100% seed germination rate!
I'm not a pumpkin grower so don't do your grow-along, so looking forward to seeing how your Harlequin squash develop!

  11. Green t-shirt bought! 💚 Love your videos. You're such an inspiration, keep doing what you're doing!

  12. I hope your Whack it in line does really well, I do love the philosophy of Whacking it in . 😂

  13. Definitely going to get a T shirt in lilac! Just put in my Romanesco seeds, I totally forgot, so thanks for reminding me. Hope you had a lovely camping trip xx

  14. New subscriber here.
Thank you for the watering tip.❤
Leaving my veg with a watering system as you suggest has taken pressure off.

  15. This Friday video was a pleasant surprise since i thought you were on vacation until Monday. I have been transplanting vegetables and flowers for nearly 60 years but in your honor last Thursday I "WACKED IN" 44 sweet pepper plants.

  17. Thank you Emma a another great vlog thanks for telling us we can sow everything it's going to be fun ,have a lovely weekend xx

  18. Love the videos Emma. I’m a new veg grower this year after moving out of London to a home with enough garden space to have my own mini back door allotment (2 raised beds and some pots) and have found your videos really reassuring, thanks for showing the realities!

I was trying to find a link to your printed gardening journal you was working on way back, but couldn’t find it. If you’re still selling it could you re-post the link? Looking forward to the ‘Whack It In t-shirt and tote bag to arrive in the coming weeks 😃

  19. Emma, you are devastatingly charming! This is the first account I found when I got my first allotment in March (and was very overwhelmed) this year and you've been an absolute blessing! Thank you for sharing your work!

  20. Tried to get on the page for tshirts, unfortunately it won't let me do it for some reason 😢
