This Toothbrush Trick Is GUARANTEED To DOUBLE Your Tomato Harvest!

In this video, I share a trick that is guaranteed to double your tomato harvest! Did you know you can dramatically increase tomato production with an electric toothbrush? Natural tomato plant pollination is unreliable, and unpollinated flowers will shrivel up and drop, which reduces harvests. This simple garden trick gives tomato plants 100% pollination, so you’ll have the biggest tomato harvest from your tomato plants ever!

This video explains why tomato plants drop flowers, how tomato pollination works, and provides an electric toothbrush tomato pollination demonstration. The procedure takes only seconds, and when you see the results, you’ll never skip this garden trick again!

  2. How do I get rid off Japanese beetles
I have used almost all of the insect repellents available in stores. But these bugs don’t seem to have any effect on them.

  3. I got a kids vibrating toothbrush on clearance a few years back for my tomatoes. It absolutely works! And it’s fun to walk around and buzz all the flowers while I have my morning coffee lol

  4. I flick the stems once a day and I don't have a single blossom that didn't set fruit.
So far 100+ set on my 10 gallon multi-plant pot.

  5. Great thing Triad area NC, many farmers markets and street booths now, more in a few weeks. Their products are great and reasonably priced. Our little land will end up costing me $25 lb for tomatoes.

  6. I don't understand, if the pollen shoots out, then how the heck does it pollenate. I'm sorry if this a dumb question, but I don't understand how its putting the pollen where it belongs?

  7. I stopped the video to go outside to pollinate my tomatoes. I have never been successful in getting much produce from anything I plant. Learning so much from your channel.

  8. P.S I love your Dogs! I can tell you love them like I love mine. I thought I was the only one crazy enough to own so many lol I have 2 Female Germon Shepards and 2 male plus a Shih Tzu female lap dog! Which she is the worst of the bunch lol brat!

  9. I flick each flower. The pollen comes out. Sometimes you can see it blow out. Always works for me. Sometimes I shake the plant. Easy and I do it while checking the plants

  10. From the comments, it seems like a ton of people knew about this but I'd never heard it. Not only is this a super helpful tip, but I really appreciate the info surrounding it. Thanks for all you contribute to the gardening world.

  11. Good info. My tomato plants got high, but no tomatoes. Then I shook the plants and pruned them. Viola! Tomatoes. Then my flowers disappeared. Now I know why. Thanks.

  12. This is the best video I have ever seen… Guess I will be taking the trusty toothbrush to my garden tomorrow and shake down a few plants!

  13. A great video once again. I knew where you were going with it when I clicked the link but as a long time gardener I love watching your videos and, as with many of your videos, I appreciate how you are able to show how simply it can be done while including full knowledge on pollinating during certain times/temps of the year. Particularly important for new gardeners. Share the knowledge!

  14. FYI most Walmarts have electric toothbrushes in the children’s section for 5 bucks or less. Don’t spent 20 bucks if u don’t have to! Lol 👌🏻

  15. Oh, so here where the humidity is usually around 91% in the morning and 73% in the after, with high heat and high humidity and excessive rainfall tomatoes are nearly doomed anyways.

  16. Wife: "hey, whered my vibrator go?"…. Husband quickly ducking down behind a row of tomatoes… bahahaha. Very interesting science though. Nice. Ill try it

  17. THANKS !! I live in north Houston so I'm dealing with lots of rain this year and we will probably be getting into the hot season. I have 24 tomato plants in 5-gal buckets. Lots of new fruits forming, but I still have lots of flowers to form fruits. I'm getting the toothbrush after them tomorrow !! I have San Marzanos, Chefs Choice Purple FX, Big Rainbow….I ran out of buckets! I'm also growing 5 different kinds of Peppers in a raised bed garden. ( I'm pretty old, so I can't get around very easy(I'm in a wheelchair)

  18. Don't have an electric toothbrush. Wondering if this will work with my wife's um errh ahem … toy.
