#SHORTS, Did you know there are other edible parts to chive plants. We often don’t get to try them because they don’t ship to market well. The purple chive flower is delicious and adds a beautiful splash to your plate. Make sure to harvest before they develop seeds, and their tender chive flavor will bring a new vibrancy to your cooking as a garnish or ingredient.

  1. Love to see those chive flowers in salads! Wonder why only very expensive restaurants use edible flowers in their salads? Using all parts of edible plants would certainly cut down on food waste and be so good for the planet.
