  1. Organizations I donate to constanty send me greeting cards, wrapping paper, etc. I don't use gift wrap or greeting cards much any more so I donate about half my stash to a local charity. And still always have plenty in stock!

  2. I became a widow last year so my plans for the summer is to down size our life of 55 yrs together to move to a much smaller house.

  3. I find that since I'm retired and living rurally, I seldom wear dresses and skirts. So I gave away all but a few this spring and made room in my closet for mix and match tops and pants and jeans. 👍👵🤗

  4. Great hanger tip. Definitely going to use it. Your garden is great can’t wait to see them grow. I still wish you were my neighbors ❤. Love your channel. Such a sweet and caring couple. Have a great weekend and week and see you next Friday. Your pizza haul was amazing wow.

  5. I would hang the hutch top of the desk above the desk for a shelf. Turn it upside down and use the top as the shelf or add a piece of shelving to close it up.

  6. We have A veg garden. We also take our camper June and july. Lots of family fun. We will be going to Florida for sun and sand.

  7. You could bundle a set of greeting cards with some ribbon and a nice pen and give them as a gift. 😊

  8. The first time I mix the starter I was instructed to substitute pineapple juice for the water. Continue feeding the starter with distilled water thereafter.

  9. Great video! I've put in a big garden, with native plants all around the property border. Inside I have nine raised beds with flowers, vegetables, fruits, and herbs, and I'm using about 15 grow bags too. I also have two grapevines that stretch about 40 feet on a trellis that are now three years old. That means they should be heavy producers this year. Very likely I've bit off more than I can chew. I'm working on a schedule to be able to maintain it all and plan to share extra food with family, friends, and the food bank. The latter is always looking for donations of great fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs. I love to give flower posies and starter plants as little gifts to celebrate birthdays and just because. Wish me luck!

  10. I’m gardening , cleaning out my raspberries. I got some more baby chicks to add to the flock which I am really excited about. Not much travel planned but having fun with the garden yard and chickens

  11. My "Beatrice" smelled soooooo bad around day 5 (like stinky feet times a thousand) I was gagging and the entire kitchen, living room & dining room stank!!! I told hubby "I'll just get bread at the bakery!" Plus I don't have to use propane to bake it. I like DIY but that one was a fail! This summer I want to get our carpeting and all upholstery professionally cleaned. We'll wait for a nice hot dry day so it will dry soon. Belive it or not…im looking forward to it more than a vacation!!!! ❤Lisa in San Diego

  12. The garden is looking great. I did a few container vegetable plants in my greenhouse. After knee surgery I’m still suffering so didn’t plant as much as I would of liked but there is always next year God willing.
I’m looking forward to spending more time with my three year old granddaughter ❤

  13. Desk idea… I have taken old flat wood “shelves” that I had on the wall with brackets. Take the flat piece of wood and put four hard door stops on each corner and make a stand/shelf. You can sit your monitor on it and router and then tuck your keyboard or other bins under the shelf. Saw the idea on Pinterest. I do this with all my desks 🎉❤🎉

  14. We have my daughter's high school graduation party tomorrow (which is almost today now! 😂). Then I plan to start to declutter and deep clean my house and keep helping my daughter get her house move-in ready this summer. All of thiswill be in between camping trips (which are at least once a month), and teaching summer college classes 1 to 2 days a week.

  15. I have my container garden going, I’m going to decluttering my garage, organizing my cupboards and sewing and quilting every day. I’m going to get my unfinished quilt project done, reading more and extending my early morning walk with my little pup.
Another wonderful video. Thank you Emmy and blessings to you both❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌻

  16. I loved this video. Paul is a handy guy! Your garden is lovely. I have a balcony garden with lettuce, green onions, cherry tomatoes, basil, oregano (yes i am Italian lol) ect. I even have a compost bucket in the outside closet. I think you have lots of gift wrap and cards because you are a giving person.😊 Those cards could be useful to anyone who scrapbooks or does junk journaling (my favorite). I love the clothes hanger idea but my OCD issues would hinder that😂. Oh my goodness on that pizza!!! I wanted to jump through the TV and grab a slice! Good luck on the sourdough! I live near Carolina Beach so my summer plans are to go there as much as possible! Sorry for the long comment. Take care of yourselves!❤

  17. I my experience, sourdough is difficult to get started and to learn the rhythm of feeding, discards, etc. BUT, once you get it, you get it and it's an easy routine. Keep trying and it'll be fine.

  18. Many of my diy skills were honed first on curbside, alley way, and dumpster finds. Ideally i could put things i took apart back together, utilize what i picked up and drug home, and liked what i created all with minimal additional cost. Else … they went off to the lsndfill garbage stream i took them from. From there i went on go use found scrap materials limg before i actually psid for something by gosh. Some of those diy makes did go on to become gifts and others went on to be donated to places which could and would use them. – In the process, i went on to gather and buy small diy tool, painting, and glue sets.

  19. About those clothes …. Back in my young self days, i found new unworn clothes (that i liked) and seldom worn clothes. At that time, i began a system to put freshly washed (and ironed, it was back in the day) clothes to the bottom of folded stacks and to one side in the closet. This formed a natural rotation. It also pointed out why i grabbed certain items such as particular nuetrals i didnt have to think about making outfits from, etc… This helped guide me in additional purchases, accessory purchases, and decide which items to keep or not keep.

  20. Sometimes when we do sorting and organizing activities, we end up with a life time's worth of a particular item like your Christmas cards; or the 10 out of 12 items left in a package purchsed for a specific diy item. Then we try to ask ourselves, what can we make out of these items or how can we purposefully use them? The 1970's were full of all sorts of Chridtmas tree ordament ideas; a collection of ordaments which are nit the type you save are great donations for orgsnizations who work with people are are housing insecure or have just obtained secure housing. But imalso like this greeting card box tutorial. It can use a number of different sized cards and even scrap booking card stock.

  21. If you can hold on until Nov-Dec with thst wrapping paper, charities that accept unwrapped gifts often seek wrapping paper donations. Also those whomare wrapping gifts as a fundraiser will accept wrapping paper donations.

  22. Thanks again for another great video with plenty of great suggestions! I will definitely try that crockpot recipe❤ we are doing little projects around the house this summer to declutter and praying for NO HURRICANES! See yall soon! ❤
