Justin’s Secret Garden – An Evening Tour in May

Welcome to a tour of my Secret Garden, filmed on a warm May evening everything has suddenly burst into life. See the beautiful Wisteria, hear the birds singing and enjoy the beautiful plant displays. Most plants are titled on the video in Latin so if you want to seek them out you can!

This is a long video so make yourself a drink, settle down and come for a walk around the garden with me!

  1. The whole earth puts on its new dress in celebration of what JESUS CHRIST did for all humanity. Your garden is beautiful spring is my favorite time of year.

  2. Many thanks for your evening tour, which I enjoyed very much. You have some really lovely plants and your garden is looking terrific. It’s all the rain we’ve had! Like you, down the road here in West Yorks it’s been damp and cool for most of the spring, but I’m not complaining about all the rain. We need it. I would leave the terracotta pot as it is. With some trailing plants it will look just fine. All the best to you and happy gardening.

  3. Gorgeous garden Justin. Thank you for sharing. It is a credit to all your hard work! Looking forward to your next video. Love to Ruth😊🤗

  4. What a way to start my morning! Thank you so much for the tour of your lovely garden. Your garden is one of my favorites for inspiration. The Secret Garden has a unique character to it. What a treat to be introduced to each individual plant.

  5. Justin, so lovely and peaceful. I'm getting lots of ideas for my tiny garden. Specifically, I like the brick border and the focal point with Helen. Thank you for sharing your space.

  6. I’m so in love with your space! Thank you for naming your beautiful plants , I am adding some to my space if I can find them near me. I’m a beginner gardener and you definitely have been an inspiration to me💚. What were all the blue flowers just splashing all over?❤️ thank you

  7. So beautiful I had to watch it twice! Birdsong is amazing thank you, wishing you a good weekend 😊

  8. Stunning! Thank you for the breath taking tour and naming the plants/flowers. I have a question concerning the wisteria, how do you keep the roots of it from running amuck everywhere? I have wisteria and can not keep the runners contained. In a nearby community from where I live in south Arkansas, there is a massive wisteria that is 60 yrs. old if not older, the residents say. Our home place is 3 acres. the only previous owner made it into a wonderland of all kinds of plants, bulbs, flowering shrubs/trees, etc. for something to be in bloom all year long. She planted garlic in amongst everything and I have never seen a sign of voles, moles, slugs, and am wondering if the garlic is a deterrent? When I first came upon your channel, I miss read your channel name as Justin the Garden, as thinking you were making a play on your name, which I thought was kind of funny, Just In the Garden. Anyway, I am enjoying your channel so much and again , thank you for sharing it all with us. In Joy

  9. Thank you Justin for guiding us with your relaxing commentary through your Secret Garden. Being introduced to each and every plant by name, not forgetting the bashful Ruth and beautiful Helen. I love the aged stone planters, wall art and the tall column with the pot . Initially I thought it should be painted but as mentioned previously I think just plant something like a training begonia in it to cover it as I’ve also had problems painting over terracotta.
Not surprised your subscribers have increased so fast. It’s such a calming experience to watch your videos with such an exquisite taste in music. Keep up the good work.

  10. Justin so much beauty in your garden. I love the forget me nots . The blue is wonderful 💙. You have an amazing collection of plants. Congratulations on how fast your channel is growing. You totally deserve it. Love and blessings 🌸🌺🌼

  11. Justin, your channel just popped up on my lap-top and I'm so glad that it did. Your garden is absolutely stunning. I can appreciate the work that goes in to achieve this. I've liked and subscribed and will watch your previous vlogs. I've had a few new channels come to light recently and I'm so busy watching them that my own garden isn't getting done! Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden.

  12. I love your videos, but I wish you would speak a little louder! Your voice is so soft and you speak so quickly I always have to go back and put on cc. You have so much to offer and I dont want to miss a thing. I may be getting hard of hearing now that Im almost 70!
I just love Helen watching over your plants. I had a dear friend named Helen that passed last summer. She and I were good garden buddies. So when I heard her name, I was touched.! Thank you for your lovely garden.!

  13. Absolutely beautiful garden. Thank you for sharing and thank you (!!) for actually naming the plants on screen as you go around (so few people do, many of us beginners don’t know the names yet). Looking forward to your future videos 😊

  14. Beautiful! I love all of the houses that you have provided for the Mason bee's. The wisteria has such an amazing trunk structure. I think the clay pot would be lovely painted white to match the column. Your garden is an oasis. Thank you!❤🐝🥀🐸
