We hope to inspire others to make their dreams a reality.

We’ve lived on the road as nomads for 4 years and now we’re creating our dream homestead, off grid in central Portugal and living simply off the land.

  1. Thanks for your vid 😇💟💟💟 Love and bless you guys, I wish you a wonderful growing season now you have a lot of water I will look forward to it.

  2. so much thought and planning gone into your gardens and food forest, excited to follow along. Don't know if I can use any of the info, maybe in reverse, being in rainy Ireland, lol!

  3. I love Missy's professional naming of all the tools.. But i think she forgot naming the whirligigs, thingamabobs and the doohickeys. 😅

  4. Fabulous update, you've done so much and it looks amazing. Can't wait to see it all grow. Very impressed with the irrigation system. Hoping to visit this year. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

  5. Wow the difference between last year and this is like night and day. Are you going to leave the IBCs uncovered as they’ll probably get full of algae, will that contaminate the crops through the irrigation systems.

  6. You guys love to grow plants! So do i… isnt it so rewarding! I speak long life and much fruit in your own
    Lives and your gardens!

  7. I love watching your progress as you continue to build / plant out your dream garden. Cheers from Australia.

  8. Good job!! I wish I was in a position to "buy a coffee" or tree but with so many people to watch I can only support by watching!!

  9. All looking great, wishing you a happy healthy harvest, I am very interested in your bananas, I grew up in a sub tropical region in South Africa , we had a great deal of banana trees on our farm!! regards from South Africa 🇿🇦 p.s. I no longer live in that area, now in a very cold frosty area, which we are heading into right now 🥶😂

  10. Loved seeing your update‼️. I’m wondering about how your shower/bathroom building is coming along – is it finished❓. Have I missed something, or❓. ❤️

  11. It's coming on a treat. Looking really vibrant. Well done with the drip irrigation, that'll be such a time and water saver. Maybe you already know about these, but just in case, yesterday i came across a video on how to make ollas, which might help in places where you don't have the drip feed. If you already know then ignore this, but if interested I can send. Looking forward to seeing the tour. Good for you too not to post every week. Otherwise you are being sucked back into the rat race! and absence makes the heart grow fonder 🙂

  12. Rather than wrap I would go with the cover overhead also just above the plants itself and if necessary around the sides too . That should be rather good for the bananas to protect them

  13. Im sure bananas and other tropical fruits could grown in Portugal. I choose there for have my own piece of land, because I understand is the more "tropical weather" that we have in Europe. Only in Portugal. In Spain in the hot areas are not much water. For that Portugal is unique in Europe.

  14. I just love your garden! It fills me with so much inspiration and envy and I can watch your videos over and over. Everything is done so meticulously and with admirable planning. Really well done, you guys!
You are also fortunate that both of you share a passion for plants and growing and are able to do things together. Wishing you every success for the season

  15. I've just started a food forest in my humble backyard. I'm learning so much from you guys…so thank you 😊

  16. I'm excited about my little veg garden (a couple of toms/cucumbers/courgettes and some beans) so goodness only knows how excited you two must be with your vast array of produce production!
It's all looking great, and I'm looking forward to seeing the progress as time passes. Fingers crossed that this year the heat is less and the rain is more! (and the opposite for me!)

  17. You guys are achieving so much… every video gets more and more exciting to see the amazing progress 👌💯🤗

  18. You are amazing, so clever and special people- hope other people hoping to grow food in Portugal take note❤

  19. Really interesting to learn about the way banana’s grow and good to see some water in the swimming pool 🏊‍♀️😂 that’s gonna be too temping to jump in when it’s really hot 🥵

  20. great video as always 😀 so enjoyable and I am just as excited about the banana circle 😀 want my own when I get my own little piece of land eventually… it is one of the plans

  21. You guys are great hopefully all your hard work will pay off and you get lots of lovely fruit and vegetables thanks for sharing 👍

  22. I really enjoy your videos on building. The kitchen you build is amazing. And you did it in such a short time.

  23. This pond holds 100 cubicmeters? I suggest you do a calculation once again! For example, 100 would be 7 by 7 meters, which is about 50, and the whole thing two meters deep… for what I ve seen, yours is about a third.

  24. Great video XXXXX your videos are worth waiting on, and yes it's a wonderful thing to be excited about plants, a joy to see your so happy X
