  1. Be Careful of the straw you use, as it might contain GMO WHICH IS CHEMICAL THAT IS SPRAYED ON THEM. NOT GOOD. JUST AN FYI

  2. I planted a Pineapple tomato plant last year they were really good. Your plants look really good can’t wait to see them in another couple weeks!

  3. I have heard sometimes you have to sacrifice one crop where all the bugs come to so the other crops can survive. Man, that is one big home garden especially if everything grows and you have a good harvest ..awesome

  4. Next year after this crop I would plow 4 to 6 in deep all you want to plant then following years into Duce compost to it and only till and so on

  5. At my great-grandparents house they had the front yard close to the road and the garden out the back door on the side also. The backyard was also used as a baseball field when we had get-togethers with the barn behind that.

  6. I have volunteer grape tomatoes that came up from ones that dropped and I didn't pick up last year. I haven't had to buy plants for several years, I just see what pops up and go from there.

  7. Plants look too close to grow to their potential size. I’ve gardened for 45 of my 67 years and have never seen such clutter in a garden. Maybe I’m just from the older generation and knows what worked for me… didn’t use chemicals and it was pretty much all natural then

  8. every time you say dirt … i can hear my horticulter teacher from back in the day loose his s#%t …ITS CALLED SOIL ….SOIL!!…. DIRT IS WHAT YOU FIND IN THE CORNER OF YOUR BEDROOM…. LOL

  9. NASTURTIUM eatable plant chop up a few leaves in cream cheese for crackers, we have that in New Zealand

  10. If you Have deer or other vermin You will not have anything left unless you surround your garden with a seven foot chain link or wire fence of some kind otherwise one day you'll come out and it will be chewed down to nubs . good luck with the raccoons too.

  11. Im excited for you Robert. I know weeding is crucial to a great garden. Thats a big garden to weed.

  12. Having been to Barbados on two cruises, I was very interested in learning about the Barbados pumpkin, so looked it up. Wonderful information.—Diatomatous earth is mined right outside of the town I live in.—Yellow pear tomatoes are my favorite, but mine have always been climbers. I also have feral tomatoes from scraps that spoiled many, many years ago! I tried Heirloom tomatoes, but between the fog, & the gophers, the results were disappointing. I'm have yard work done now that I'm retired, & hope to have re-designed my multiple spaces for optimum sun exposure.—Fun tour.

  13. For the first season in decades, your land is doing well!
Keep up the amazing work! Remember to collect/save seeds for next year.

  14. I enjoy your channel very much. But, what is the purpose of the row in the garden, that is lined with lumber?

  15. Robert the garden is looking great ! The way you said the plants are happy, reminds me of Bob Ross and his happy little trees . I like that. Anyway, i'll be watching for the garden's progress. Thanks for sharing !

  16. Just curious if you've tried, heard of, and/or researched electroculture? I'm testing it with my little garden this year. I'm curious about your thoughts on it. Good luck with your garden!

  17. diatomaceous earth non chemical, from the sea small crustacean that spike and kill different insects
but you need to re apply in the insects so they are in contact with the dry powder, once wet not as effective.
