Be Careful of the straw you use, as it might contain GMO WHICH IS CHEMICAL THAT IS SPRAYED ON THEM. NOT GOOD. JUST AN FYI
Basil is a good companion plant to tomatoes. And restaurants like basil
I planted a Pineapple tomato plant last year they were really good. Your plants look really good can’t wait to see them in another couple weeks!
Your garden looks awesome 😊😊
All your hard work is about to pay off…wow!
The garden sure is looking awesome.
👍🇺🇸
Hi Robert. Those trenches are called furrows.
Hello Vicky ❤❤ Robert is going to town with gardening ❤❤❤😊
I have heard sometimes you have to sacrifice one crop where all the bugs come to so the other crops can survive. Man, that is one big home garden especially if everything grows and you have a good harvest ..awesome
yes I believe in the marigolds to repel bugs. Have used the for years. Cosmos are beautiful.
Exceptional garden!!
How Exciting!
It'sall getting their they will surprise _
Next year after this crop I would plow 4 to 6 in deep all you want to plant then following years into Duce compost to it and only till and so on
Ballew is such a good helper! Does he ever bark?
At my great-grandparents house they had the front yard close to the road and the garden out the back door on the side also. The backyard was also used as a baseball field when we had get-togethers with the barn behind that.
Diatomaceous earth
Oh man, that dirt looks good! Just get rid of the rest of wisteria sticks
You should have your soaker house under the mulch to retain the moisture.
My favorite tomato is Cherokee they are big purple / red THE best flavor.
the pumpkin plants will cover them up. pumpkin plants get huge.
I have volunteer grape tomatoes that came up from ones that dropped and I didn't pick up last year. I haven't had to buy plants for several years, I just see what pops up and go from there.
Blue is a good boy. Your garden is getting so good!
Plants look too close to grow to their potential size. I’ve gardened for 45 of my 67 years and have never seen such clutter in a garden. Maybe I’m just from the older generation and knows what worked for me… didn’t use chemicals and it was pretty much all natural then
every time you say dirt … i can hear my horticulter teacher from back in the day loose his s#%t …ITS CALLED SOIL ….SOIL!!…. DIRT IS WHAT YOU FIND IN THE CORNER OF YOUR BEDROOM…. LOL
NASTURTIUM eatable plant chop up a few leaves in cream cheese for crackers, we have that in New Zealand
looking wonderful
Aloha 🌺🥰
If you Have deer or other vermin You will not have anything left unless you surround your garden with a seven foot chain link or wire fence of some kind otherwise one day you'll come out and it will be chewed down to nubs . good luck with the raccoons too.
Im excited for you Robert. I know weeding is crucial to a great garden. Thats a big garden to weed.
My goodness, has it been a month, already? How time flies, huh?. God bless.
Your garden is looking good! 😊❤
Having been to Barbados on two cruises, I was very interested in learning about the Barbados pumpkin, so looked it up. Wonderful information.—Diatomatous earth is mined right outside of the town I live in.—Yellow pear tomatoes are my favorite, but mine have always been climbers. I also have feral tomatoes from scraps that spoiled many, many years ago! I tried Heirloom tomatoes, but between the fog, & the gophers, the results were disappointing. I'm have yard work done now that I'm retired, & hope to have re-designed my multiple spaces for optimum sun exposure.—Fun tour.
need a chicken update
Wonderful garden!
For the first season in decades, your land is doing well!
Keep up the amazing work! Remember to collect/save seeds for next year.
I enjoy your channel very much. But, what is the purpose of the row in the garden, that is lined with lumber?
Robert the garden is looking great ! The way you said the plants are happy, reminds me of Bob Ross and his happy little trees . I like that. Anyway, i'll be watching for the garden's progress. Thanks for sharing !
Great job Robert….hello Blue
Nasturtium
Very good Grasshopper, lol. Looks very nice.
Just curious if you've tried, heard of, and/or researched electroculture? I'm testing it with my little garden this year. I'm curious about your thoughts on it. Good luck with your garden!
Everything is looking healthy. You have a green thumb for sure
diatomaceous earth non chemical, from the sea small crustacean that spike and kill different insects
but you need to re apply in the insects so they are in contact with the dry powder, once wet not as effective.
