The money tree (Pachira aquatica) that had a nutrient deficiency has recovered nicely – just gave it a dose of fertilizer. It was an all-purpose 24-8-16 – the numbers weren’t as important as the fact that this fertilizer was labelled “all-purpose” so it contained other micronutrients: when NEW leaves are yellowish with green veins, it’s indicative of an iron deficiency, which is a micronutrient included with most all-purpose fertilizers.
