How tall is the rock wall
Oh my heavens this was such a peaceful video and I absolutely loved every minute of it. The blue on blue is so beautiful. I bet in person it’s striking. I really needed the calming hug this morning’s video brought. Thank you.
Hope all is well at your sweet Mom’s house. We all know how Mother Nature can wake up and decide to ruin your day 😔
But Laura your garden is looking lovely. All the layering is gorgeous … currently working on that in my own garden 🦋
Looks just beautiful!
I notice that you plant more color flowers. Is it right observation or not laura??
That happened to my neighbors tree. It took 4 years for it to die after it started having less and less leaves. The 4th year was completely bare of leaves
What a relaxing video with sounds of nature…am I the only one that always mutes the music ?.. lol
So sorry your parents lost their beautiful tree
I love this space so much!
The contrast of colors & textures in a compact area is just lovely!
Is there any possibility Laura that you could share the source of your patio furniture that is in this video? Black iron? w white cushions……
How much watering does hydrangeas need in zone 11-12?
Beautiful Landscape and Peaceful! ❤
That kitchen garden area is dream like. I would want to seat there all day and into the night in the summer.
I love how trusting Russell is when you move the furniture. He’s so chill. Love the owl or dove in the background too. Chickens too.
❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful!!
It takes about 7 yrs for a tree to die. Call an arborist to help determine the trees future.
🌿💜
With the mild weather you are having, this might just be the year your hostas thrive later in the season.
“Ah gardening”: ain’t that the truth Laura😂? It’s great when things go our way in the garden, but not so great when they don’t.
Do you feed your vegetable beds aside from the Plant Tone when you first plant them? If so, what do you feed them and how often. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge! 💚🌿
Chemtrail rain is killing many trees. Big oaks and pines are dying where I am and tops of trees look like yours here too. It is very disturbing but we think this based on lots of testimonies of people all over the U.S. that they are seeing many chem clouds or actual chemtrailing prior to rain. So either way your rain could be contaminated. :/
A great video today full of so many beautiful plants. And beautiful area's. Just love the hydrangea you put in to pots. So beautiful. It's one of my favourite plants. I have a few in my garden. Different colours. Just a inspiring video the sitting area near your door what a view so lovely around there now. L really feel for your your parents on losing a beautiful tree. Fingers crossed there is not to much damage.. Yep l too and l know others mums out there do treat our self's to something on mum's day. So your not alone on that one Laura.
Great sympathy for your parents losing a tree.
Melania redid the garden at the White House. She had a ton of boxwood spheres added very close together in different sizes to look like billowy clouds. It’s very beautiful. They had to take out the old Cherry trees though. The magnolia tree in the south garden was planted in the Jefferson era! That’s an old tree. Some trees are just longer lived than others.
Rain What is this you speak of? 🙁 Alberta has been in a heat wave since the snow melted. Northern Alberta is where all the wild fires have been and now my area, in central Alberta, has been covered in thick smoke. I planted 26 pansies last night, but so far this morning the smoke just burns my nose, so all my plants still need to wait to get planted.
Oh, those lilacs are beautiful! The iron chelate can take several years to completely resolve the problems of high ph. Kings Park in Western Australia is known for their researchers and for having to deal with high ph. Recently they published again regarding their work finding that trees that looked like they were on the way out eventually came back to strong health after several years of applying iron chelate. So maybe it’s just a matter of persistence and patience? Good luck because it is a tree worth saving.
I wonder if it is constant root disturbance that is causing the trees to go bad? Something is always being planted under it. Or it could be that it's just getting older.
SO gorgeous! ❤️❤️❤️ Sorry about your tree. I completely understand. Struggling with potentially losing 3 big, beautiful trees myself 😩
I’m dumping my coffee grounds on Endless Summer macrophylla. This is the first year I saved the first bloom and excited to see if they bloom purple or blue. So far each plant has had 3 helpings of coffee grounds. 1 had vinegar. They all have buds here in May. I like the endless summer brand because they always bloom eventually.
Good morning! I suggest asking a tree surgeon to diagnose your tree. It would make an interesting video. Cheers!
Such a beautiful spot. It is glorious now with the blooming trees, layers of greens, and all the pretty things you added. It was lovely coming along.
What a beautiful combination of the silver grey and the peach colors. Stunning combination.
The tulips against the blue leaves are absolutely stunning! I think this is my favorite bed so far!
Everything living eventually dies Laura. Maybe that tree is just too old.
The blue foliage looks great in that flower bed! For the tree, I would call an arborist to come have a look.
All of the locust trees in my area of PA are dying from a fungus that’s spreads through the roots. It’s really wiping them out.
Absolutely stunning.
So much energy goes into producing peacefulness and serenity.
I think of the energy that goes into doing that, and it’s exhausting.
I wonder what your tree is feeling when it wants to be left alone?
We put so much energy into our gardens thinking to create serenity, but is it serenity? Or is it pride.
We want to be proud of our gardens, we strive always to establish life and living, then lose it; because in all of the doing we lost our way.
There needs to be a tree behind the fireplace make that space secluded and private.
😍 garden looks fabulous 🥰
