Landscaping Ideas for Small Backyard Privacy: Plants for a Fence Line: Backyard Privacy Screen

Dawn and Ed wanted a privacy screen that was natural to hide her grill on her backyard patio. It really bothered her when they went for a walk and can see the grill from the sidewalk. They live in a cul-de-sac and their house is on an angle to the street. Dawn and I picked out the perfect plants for this area near the edge of the patio to give her a screen. In just a few short years she will not be able to see the grill from the street and give her privacy from people walking by their house in the neighborhood. We planted up two small gardens in the backyard. The other small garden is along the fence line. The fence belongs to their neighbor. Ed had a very hard time mowing on the steep slope of the hill. So to avoid mowing along the fence line, they installed a lovely garden to also help with privacy.
