People say “air plants die after flowering” – to clarify, the plant doesn’t just shrivel up the moment the flowers are finished blooming. There’s a high chance there will be a baby plant, a pup, growing from the base of the mother plant. And the mother plant simply stops growing – it doesn’t die the way air plants die of rot because it was watered without having adequate light.
