AMAZING Botanical Garden in Fort Worth and an Orchid Conservatory

So my oldest daughter and I checked out this amazing botanical garden in Fort Worth, Texas just 2 weeks ago. It was a stunning show of color and the orchid conservatory was something out of this world, with its lush tropical plants and warm, humid environment. The landscape at the botanical garden was well maintained and beautiful. This is one of the nicest botanical gardens I’ve been to and if you’re ever in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, you’ve got to check it out. As a last minute addition, we stopped by the Fort Worth stockyards to see the long horn cattle drive.

  2. Thanks for the tour Mike! We are already green in Northern California as well. The much needed rain this past winter really helped.

  3. Beautiful botanical gardens Mike! Thank you for taking us along with Allie and yourself ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿค—โค๏ธ
I would like to have a green house tall enough for papaya, mango, moringa and citrus. A few orchids will not hurt and vanilla.

The colors on those cows…. beautiful! ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿค—
Allie grew up so much, she is turning into a young lady before our eyes ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ‘€ God bless her and you all.

  4. Thank you for this video. What a nice, beautiful flowers and trees. I pray and thanks God the the creator of heaven, earth, universe, and all good living things on earth…

  5. You're welcome back to Dallas anytime Mike lol. Glad y'all had such a good trip. And one of those oak trees I think one where you're like look at these oaks I believe it was post oak tree. And the one that was growing crazy I'm guessing was a live oak but I may be wrong.

  6. Hey, beautiful place, here are some things you saw that I thought you might be interested in knowing about: the cardinal is thestate bird of my state North Carolina, and that was a blue heron, of which we have at the pond behind our house, we have those longhorns everywhere around here and I love them, and I have 3 of those old fashioned snowball bushes and they do get big, but I love them, wow that was quite a trip, I bet Allie didn't want to go back home to the cold weather, loved this one, it was fantastic, hope you guys had fun, love to you all๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ‘โฃ๏ธ

  7. Mike, I loved all the Chia pet animals ๐Ÿชand the sighting of a Texas pterodactyl (especially loved Ally's giggle when you said that), not something you see every day in my neck of the woods, lol! Ally will have great memories of this trip with her dad, and of the wonderful Botanical gardens you visited. Blessings to you and your sweet family, have a great weekend! ~Margie๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ง๐Ÿฆœ

  8. Mike and Allie, great job with the video. Is this your first-time filming out in public, I know it's not easy to do. Hint, the teamwork helps make it. Only thing they got that you don't, hint again, sculpture and garden art. Can't wait to see your next visit to an arboretum, botanic garden or some old estate garden now turned public. I always enjoy another tour of 'The Mike Kincaid Arboretum', It's got the best rhododendron collection I've seen.

  9. That was a nice surprise ,I didn't expect to see this until after the house was done. You say they're a few months ahead of you and we were one week in to nice weather then had the blizzard of a lifetime ,lasted almost 3 days I was not impressed So seeing all the flowers and trees was a nice treat I thought maybe some butterflies inside the greenhouse Wouldn't you love to have a greenhouse like that one filled with all those orchids and other tropical plants I'd be in my glory ๐Ÿต๏ธ๐Ÿชท๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒด. ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿฆฉ

  11. I'm from Far North Dallas and we sometimes drive an hour to Fort Worth to visit this botanical garden,.

  12. Nice reprieve from the stress of building โ˜บ I've been MIA but all caught up now. I'm going to Texas this summer. I will try and check this place out. Tks for sharing ๐Ÿค—

  13. โคโคOh๐Ÿ˜ฎ my goodness this is what I call God's beauty creations.
I'm in Oklahoma , this is beautiful!
Thank you for your time,of the show case of Texas".**๐Ÿฆ‹

  14. I love that you and your daughter went there just the two of you! I would have loved doing stuff like that with my dad. It allows so much time to speak good healthy things into their lives one on one. I enjoyed doing that with my son but it was only day trips.

  15. One day when the wisteria is in bloom you need to take your girls to the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle and make sure to enter through the West gate. They have a massive wisteria that covers the whole gate area, It is breathtaking. The Greenhouse in Write Park in Tacoma is lovely too!

  16. Thats my favorite part of going to different state and check out the plants. Im from MN. Utah and NC for instance are very different

  17. Sooooo glad you enjoyed yourself down in our part of the world. I like the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens more than the Dallas Arboretum. They are both pretty, I find the FW gardens more relaxing & laidback, the atmosphere in Dallas feels a little stuffy. But I love Fort Worth & there's always been a rivalry between the two cities. I live between both, about 7 minutes West of DFW. Did you happen to get recognized while you were here? We hope you visit again, soon.

  18. Hi Mike! Thank you for sharing! Such a beautiful place, but there's no place like home! I am going to take my grandson home in May, to Hawaii! Your video made me more excited about my trip. My son and wife know my love of plants, but probably not as much as you love plants!๐Ÿ˜Š They have plans to take me to different gardens and nurseries. I can hardly wait. They have 3 acres in Hawaii and just sent me pictures of orchids growing on their trees! I love the orchids in your video, but I would have to go much slower than you to check each orchid out! No one would want to go to the gardens with me because I'd take forever! Lol. I'm glad Allie shares your love of plants and glad you and Allie could make more special memories! Allie is really growing up fast and is beautiful. Thanks again for sharing your trip to the gardens. Best wishes on building your new home! ๐Ÿ’œ

  19. Welcome to the south, we have chicks in the nest near feathered out . and my garden is already in and a foot tall or more.

  20. WOW you were down here by me ! Yes both of the botanical gardens are spectacular but I prefer the one in Fort Worth.
Great to see you both having fun!

  21. Absolutely amazing, thank you for recording this its so nice to see such lovely places its cold and misty here devon Uk

  22. Thanks for taking us along!! I'm with Ali, that cardinal was cool – you should do a topiary of one with your red rhodies lol. That stick work was really cool too.
I just made a quick trip to FL for a wedding and picked up two Vanda orchids and a pitcher plant. The humidity won't be high enough here for another week or two so I have to baby them and mist constantly until then.

  23. What is that place they call, Stitch Work? Is it saplings that they weave broken branches around? We still have snow here in northren Minnesota. I wish it looked like that here. Makes me want to move.

  24. Amazing place you visited with your daughter! The orchids were awesome. Hope you both had a great trip๐Ÿ˜Š

  25. Looks like you two had a fantastic time! Iโ€™m envious of the bonding opportunity with your cub.
Daggum, that place looks well taken care of!

  26. Hi Mike, Now that's a nice place you went to. Good to see you get away from the stress, from the build . I have a million baby New England maple trees from the mother tree. I get them every year. I'll send you some if you want. Everyone around here taps them for the syrup. I like the shade they give myself. How's your house coming along, I hope the weather got better for you. Well, I'll be looking for your next video. Take care and good luck with the weather. Steve

  27. nice tour

  28. That was a really nice trip. I really enjoyed that video. Thanks for sharing and have a great day ๐ŸŒž๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿค—
