How To Make A Terrarium | A Beginners Guide



Making a terrarium can be a daunting task so I’ve made this terrarium guide to simplify the process. I get right down to the basics in this beginner terrarium tutorial so even if you’ve never made a terrarium you’ll be able to follow along. From terrarium plants to terrarium light to terrarium substrate, I go over all the basics here. I also go over care instructions like watering a terrarium and what terrarium light bulb to choose.     Do you not get fungal issues if you just remove the lid from time to time? I have a cube terrarium even with an air strip but because there's no air moving this one catches fungal infections again and again which is quite a hassle!

    my method: 1. Use whatever I have. 2. steal plants and soil and rocks and maybe even a duck from the park. 3. Look up youtube videos why my terrarium isn't doing well. 4. Repeat

    I watched your beginner terrarium video twice and I believe I have most elements down. My question is with adding nutrients when needed. Since watering can be infrequent, can very diluted fertilizer be added at the soil level when the terrarium does get watered? Thanks. 😊
