Tulips in my Cottage Garden & Spring Plants Tour

Come and have a look at the tulips in our cottage garden. Most of them are in flower at the moment, with just a few of the double petal varieties to follow. We will also show you the polytunnel and greenhouse so you can see how we are getting on with growing vegetables this year. Hope you enjoy!

  1. I don't agree with no mow May at all! Your creating safe spaces for pollinators and other insects and then come June your wiping them all out! It's like a death sentence for them. I think it's much better to do what I do and dedicate a space that you leave completely wild all year round even if it's just the smallest patch. 🤍

  2. Tulips are my favorite. My dad plants them at our house 30 years ago and they still come up every year

  3. Beautiful!!
If I don’t mow the grass I have mostly dandelions… what do u do to prevent a garden full of dandelions? Thank you

  4. Your tulips are an absolute delight – it all looks so beautiful. I'd love a peek at Aaron's allotment at some point…

  5. I certainly would not purposely plant Spanish bluebells. They will take over your lawn soon enough and then you will be foever trying to pull them out. They really are thugs. Just my opinion. Thanks for sharing ☺️

  6. Your Spring garden is lovely! Thank you for sharing with us ! Did you first start the Forget Me Nots from seed ? I’ve not been successful starting them from seed . Do you have any tips ?

  7. One more question… my lawn is full of dandelion and thistles . I don’t want to use a Weed and Feed , but I don’t know how to help my lawn . We are renting .

  8. Beautiful as always, I so look forward to your updates. Please think about removing the Spanish and adding an English bluebell as your theme is delicate meadow and within 5 years mine got covered in thick bluebells which took all my delicate fritillaries so have a think. You won’t regret it I promise. 🤍

  9. Hi Mona, lovely video as always! Please can I have your email address? When I click the email button on your Instagram or through the link in your profile it just tries to open the mail app on my phone, which I don’t have set up! I would really like to email you directly if possibly please – it’s regarding contact details for the person who rebuilt your shed/duck house. 💗🦆 Or if they have a website, please can you post it here? Thank you! 😊
