  1. Not related directly to the video – but the neat/perfect grass cutout around your maples – how do you do this? Looks great!
    -Kelly from Iowa

  2. Your half-baked projects, and my half-baked projects, are two completely different kinds of half-baked. My projects are more like the first time your kids make brownies by themselves, and you tell them their delicious (while you’re crunching on egg shells). 🤣🤣 keep doing your thing! Love it.

  3. Excited for you and this new venture. Sharing the fruits of your labor with friends, family, and your community is a labor of love and fellowship. 🙏🙏🙏

  4. Oh, exciting! yay! You are using the Wonderland Pasture (because we were wondering what you will turn it into 🤣). I now feel like you need to find an additional "Paul and Bethany" crew to help manage that area as things ramp up.

  5. You mentioned you were going to get the starter fertilizer that you forgot. I didn’t see it on camera, so just curious whether you amended the soil prior to planting? Or sprinkled it on top later?

  6. When you first purchased this land and said…we are just going to let it be pasture. I thought HA HA HA! There is NO way Laura can have blank land and just "let it be"! 😂 I've be en anxious to see what you will do in this space!

  7. Ok. Does Aaron have a physical impairment? I see him sitting on the tractor, sitting on the mower, helping plant trees now and then but not real physical work.

  8. I've never had huckleberry gold potatoes. I'll have to see if our specialty grocery store carries them. Darn, I wanted to see Aaron burning the weeds. I think it would have been satisfying.

  9. So excited to see the start of something on the new land! It is going to be so much fun to see all of everything Laura fills up in the new high tunnels ( all the beautiful flowers 🌸) plus the kids will be able to walk through there own pumpkin patch and pick out their own pumpkins 🎃! Didn’t remember hearing you say if you were going to plant any watermelon 🍉 or cantaloupe 🍈???
I wonder if where you are placing things if you thought about the shadows from the high tunnels that r the corn 🌽??? Or sunflowers 🌻🌻 ???
Either way…. I hope Laura creates some kind of big corn maze for the kids to run through and the sunflowers 🌻 along the fence line is going to be so so pretty! I love it !❤️😊

  10. I agree with the comment about you could feed the nation. We had a garden 85ft by 60ft and we’re mostly self sufficient and vegetarian for the year and even sold surplus to an organic shop. To be fair I didn’t grow potatoes but the rest were so productive.

  11. Sleeves up! Whew❤ sometimes we, the viewers, forget that all of the beautiful results you achieve are only possible with the tough prep work. Thanks for showing the job from start to finish. It really helps me just get on with it when a project seems daunting. Wishing you great success!

  12. Onions come back if you leave them.. they are cold hardy.. so you dont have to wait for the weather to be good to plant them

  13. Are you going to remove the entire fence line separating the new pasture from the road and line of trees? I think that would make it immediately cohesive and not so blatantly “yeah, this is new.” Maybe. I could be totally wrong, lol.

  14. Laura, when you finally harvest and give away the stuff, I hope people will appreciate the work you put into it. I am so glad you found it fun, but to me it looked like hard back breaking work planting all those unions and potatoes on your hands and knees. I couldn't do it. Not with my back problems. Great work and, for all of them come harvest time, thank you.

  15. WIll the water actually reach the end of 240 feet of drip tape?

I'm looking forward to seeing that row of sunflowers along your fence. That should be spectacular.

  16. I can't wait to see the sunflowers along the fence! And the new land tilled up just great. Laura, thats a great place for your 1st year crops. Enjoy!

  17. I recall you mentioning that you wanted to reduce the amount of produce you grow as it can be overwhelming and time-consuming. However, this may be beneficial for the food bank. On another note, I really enjoy watching your pumpkin harvest videos!

  18. Great job Laura and Aaron! Laura you definitely need some knee pads! You will pay for that later as I did 😢

  19. It never ceases to amaze me how Laura makes everything look easy. I’ve been gardening for 50 years and never once have I felt it was easy. Lol. That’s part of why I still get inspired watching this wonderful channel. Does the drip tape have a maximum distance to get even watering? And does it have a GPM rating? If so, what is it?

  20. I planted my onions wrong, going to attempt digging them up and separating each bunch.

  21. The way she said, 'Aaron got himself a torch' took me out!! 🤣🤣 That is too funny and I must see this!
