Creating and maintaining public spaces is important anywhere, especially in a dense urban area like NYC. Central Park isn’t just a backyard for the people who live around the Park—it’s a gathering space for the whole City. What I love about landscape architecture—especially working at the Conservancy—is you get to be deeply involved in all aspects of a project. Being part of something bigger than myself is a special experience.”
