Garden Plans

Marina Skua Ep 48 – Hand-spun yarn outfits and plans, and a spring garden update

Spring is here and I’m apparently in a hand-spun phase – I’m wearing hand-spun garments, knitting with hand-spun yarn, and preparing fibre for a future spinning and knitting project! There’s a look at a hat design that’s soon to be released, and a little tour around our front garden and a look at what I’m hoping to do with it.

  1. Thank you for the garden tour! Can't wait to see your sweet peas once they have bloomed. Your hat pattern will certainly go on the to-knit list — and since your knitting with handspun is so inspirational, maybe I'll try it in handspun! Thanks again.

  2. Your intro and outro footage is stunning! It was lovely to see your front garden and to hear about plans you have for it. Your repurposed yarn from Mistland is an absolutely gorgeous colour. I'm looking forward to the Patreon Zoom chat shortly.

  3. Thank you for the tour of your front garden. So much potential! (Which is, of course, code for the huge amount of time and work you will be pouring into it.) it is a lovely space to be in, even at these beginning stages. The views of the surrounding hills and fields are gorgeous and serene. I hope that you will be able to spend some time knitting and spinning in your outdoor spaces. I love your new hat, too! harpingJanet
