Bush Cinquefoil (Potentilla fruticosa) is one of the best flowering shrubs for season-long color, brightening up the garden with cheery saucer-shaped blooms from June through September. It is bothered by few pests, most notably deer, which find the finely textured blue-green foliage unappealing.
