  1. With the banana 🍌 skins I put them in water just like you did with the nettles and garlic

Beetroot seeds in sure as they are nobbily can produce more than 1 beetroot from a single seed xx

  2. I planted beetroot with my daughter a few weeks ago and you get 300 per pack. Why on earth were there only 5 in there? Sheer Madness! I absolutely love your new structure. Very neat and tidy. Clever getting that pole at the bottom. Runner beans don’t really need horizontal lines. They will wind up the verticals and cling on. My daughter and I are watching you tonight. She shouted “25!” When you tried to do maths. She is 8. But we love you. 😊

  3. Thank you for your videos, find them so helpful, new to this and just taken on an established allotment, you give me great ideas 😀

  4. Hi Emma, Don't over winter your tulip bulbs if you want flowers next year. They need to be planted up again in November. Your Pea support is great, but you need to support it to prevent the wind from blowing it over, also the weight it will need to support when the plants are in full production. Try digging in some branches or canes into the ground at an angle, on both sides of your uprights, like an A frame. The Tomorite feed is spot on, you can use it on everything, plants, flowers, shrubs, and all your other veg. You gardening knowledge is coming along nicely. Keep up the good work.

  5. hello Emma your scarlet beans are the same as mine this year, your plot looks great all down to your hard work so i am glad to see you enjoying it, all the best in growing for the long season ahead. have a nice weekend too.

  6. You should also cut the spent flowers back before they set seed. If they start to set seed the energy goes to the seed instead of the bulbs

  7. That’s odd you got cat treats with your shopping, I got puppy treats and do not have pets! Gave them to a neighbour. Must be something they are giving to online orders!
Your bean structure looks great. I just use the wigwam made from canes and twine.
My Jack be Little pumpkins have just poked their heads out, so looking forward to growing them.

  8. I know your heart is in the right place, but you probably shouldn't feed Rocky. You never know if he's on a special diet for any health problems etc ❤ 🐈‍⬛

  9. Should you lift the tulip bulbs? Will they survive being stored like dahlia’s? I never heard of anyone doing that, but maybe I am uninformed. Love your videos. You are so creative and entertaining.

  10. I just use cut grass to feed all my plants. They all love it. Sort of like the green leaves of the tulip feeding the bulb. After I plant say a strawberry. Two or three days later I put about an inch of cut grass around the plant. It will perk up really nice. Then after the cut grass dies off and gets thinner, I will do it again. Probably about every 2 weeks or so. The plants love it. I leave the dead grass there too. I just keep doing this all summer if the plants need it. Then the soil underneath is protected and stays wetter too, so less watering.

  11. Is it worth either taking rocky to a vet to see if he’s microchipped and has a family or popping a collar and note on him to ask if his family can say he has one? He is a lovely cat. I wouldn’t get anything done if he was in my plot I’d just cuddle him all day x

  12. Love your new structure , I think I’ll copy that for my sweet peas thanks

  13. The cap bottle and maths were hilarious but keep at it. You have your own little piece of heaven, happy growing. It's good for the soul.

  14. Thank you for sharing your useful garden videos. I am happy to find your channel and look forward to learning more from you. I can’t wait to start my garden. I post videos of my gardening too. Maybe we can learn from each other as we grow! I wish you a bountiful harvest!

  15. Emma, it looks like you have enough room on the other side of your stick trellis to grow more runner beans. Love your diaries, you are a treasure.

  16. Not many are saying it, but we're all thinking it. The Rocky eats Robin episode will be coming sometime in the next few months.

  17. Hiya Emma, enjoyed watching today’s video. Agree I like the new structure. Only a couple of treats a day for Rocky. I believe that you can cut off the tulip stem and just leave the leaf part to feed the bulbs. Blessings luv Ontario Canada 🇨🇦🐝

  18. Glad you didn’t forget the cat’s treats😀
Five seeds are a little rude, but some seeds are expensive so I’d say that’s why.😉🇦🇺

  19. Love to see you on the front of this month's 'Kitchen Garden' magazine…Article fab….
