You should re plant those nandenas in your own yard. You have a dramatic wall and big yard that could benefit. Free is good.
We also use grass flaps, love them. Breaking cables not so much an issue just keep extra on hand.

Looks much better without the Nandina bushes… they are pretty (but high maintenance to keep trimming them).
Reminds me of the time I removed 8 Azalea bushes from my front yard. They were probably 20 years old and past their prime, took me several weeks to finally dig them out! Massive root structures… and did not own a sawzall at that time or have a truck to pull them out. 🥴

Oh, another YouTuber I watch uses a Toro zero-turn mower, he always says to stop tearing the grass on turns, that you must use a 3-point turn (just a thought with your new Toro).

What am I doing this weekend? Watching snow melt, yet, in SE ND. Wed morning we had lightning, thunder and rain. Thur/Fri we had 3-4 more inches of snow. UGH But better than the nasty weather there has be in the South and East part of the country.
