I'm having a really tuff time with allargi 😪🤧
Don't know about the eye test situation, I'm in the same position as you, 12 months in and they have definitely got worse. Been looking for an airfryer for ages, but mainly for chips as I hate oven cooked ones, it's a minefield, probably have to buy one and hope for the best!
Hello Caroline,A big thankyou for the demonstration of of the Ultecnic Hoover, after seeing it decided I needed one (not really ) but as some of the year I live in a small flat I'm forever bashing into the furniture, wuth my Hoover,so this is just great,as by the time I got my electric hoover out the cupboard and plugged in ,I'm half way round with this one ,and gets under the furniture just great .Your Bougainvillea will be ok outside for the summer but bring it in for winter ! Love your quotes at the end of your vlogs 😍
Your longer hair is very flattering on you. I really like it. Cheers from Canada. Sandy (from hubby's account)
Hi Caroline, Bourganvillia love full sun, little water and are usually grown in warm/hot climates. Living in the UK you will need to protect the plant against the cold and in particular frost, the leaves will probably fall in winter for you. If the plant is happy it will have tiny creamy flowers appear in summer, the pink which people often believe to be the flower is known as the bracks. Being you are in the south west you have the best chance of it surviving, good luck.
Hi Caroline, one advantage of going to the Optometrist every 2 years is for eye health as they can often diagnose various health issues such as high blood pressure and age related eye diseases and updated prescriptions if needed. I live in Vancouver, Canada and most Optometrist offices have very sophisticated equipment that is similar to an eye surgeons office.
As always, seeing your vlog is a happy event! It occured to me how orderly and bright your office is. It's really quite pretty. I'm doing a bit of reselling from my grown son's old room. I had to remove rude posters from the walls first. You can imagine. Your final words are something to cherish and think about when life seems a bit off. Thank you so much! xx Patty
How lovely to have memories of your grandma 💞 I talk about or use quotes from my gran every day 🕊
Hi Caroline, that was sweet of you to remember your grandmother. I had a great relationship with mine and often her words of wisdom will pop into my mind.
In accordance wuth the lovely quote at the end of the video for a number of years now I compliment strangers when the opportunity arises, in shops etc. Sometimes people ask me if I work for the shop in question and are invariably pleased when I say, " No, I just thought you liked nice ', Little things can often brighten up one's day I find. Thank you for your hard work in bringing interesting content to us ladies of a certain age.
Hi lovely Caroline , Thank you for a lovely chat , you are so motivating , it must be hard sometimes when you work from home to keep some structure in the day…..but you do it so well , also i would like to thank you for your recomendation from vlogmas for those amazing small spatula's…..i must have got al least another 3 weeks out of my moisturiser…..🥰🥰🥰🥰, also things like mayo…in those squeezy bottles….Wow….they are….And that quote brought a tear to my eye….😢…..Bless ya heart…..have a lovely week….take good care xxx💝💝💝
I never used to get my eyes tested as often as I should but like you my eyesight was deteriorating so when I got a routine reminder for an eye test I booked and it turned out I had a detached retina and had to have emergency surgery. Now I would always recommend having regular eyesight tests, particularly as we get older as they can detect many health conditions too. Oh and I wear sunglasses over my reading glasses too😅
I loved your verse at the end it's lovely. I read something a while ago about always saying something nice to people,friends/ family. Something like a compliment that will make them smile and I've done that for a while now, always subtle and not over the top. I really enjoy your videos and you do brighten my day or evening. Still trying to copy your make up but eyeshadow never stays on, I'm not very good at it.😂 .
Another great vlog Caroline, I always enjoy them. Love the polka-dot bathing suit and the quote at the end is lovely, I screen shot it. You have a lovely reciting voice and your delivery is wonderful!
I begrudge the ridiculous car parking costs at Bristol. We flew from Cardiff last year – a lovely new airport, all clean and virtually empty with much more reasonably priced parking. Would definitely fly from Cardiff again. 👍
And on a positive note, your inspirational words at the end brought a tear – in a good way. Thank you for your vlog. 😀
you are always so refreshing 😊 after a long day…I found you and thought…Yup..just what I need…thanks for sharing some of your life with us…❤❤❤
Hi Caroline. What a lovely quote. Pleased your feeling a little better, hope it continues xxx
I now have to wear my sunglasses over my reading glasses as I love to read in the sun😂. I also thought the airport parking had gone up this year, just paid more for a 4 day trip from Stansted than I paid for a week last year. The book sounds good too, I loved Room.
You’ve caught the sun 🌞
I do the same with my sunglasses 🕶🤣
I don't own an air fryer, nor do I know if I would use it if I had one. What do you use it for mainly? I cook at least 5 days out of 7 (usually 7!) and mostly use the oven, the stove top or a Cuisinart Griddle. I have FOMO – so really am serious in asking!! I've done the double glasses thing too! I do get my eyes tested yearly, and this year my prescription changed, so I went for some prescription sunglasses as well as regular glasses. No, I don't think your sight gets worse with repeated exams – that makes no sense to me. I'm 76 and have done this yearly for at least the last 16 years.
Thanks for another video. and what nice weather you had! I think it's not warm enough for bougainvillea where you are and likely all of the UK. It likes warm climates and you see it in southern Spain and southern California (those are the places I've lived where it grows profusely). Maybe Italy and Greece too? You probably want to keep that plant indoors. It's lovely though and I too love them! Lovely ending message 💜
I do the same thing with my sun glasses. I did have rx dark glasses. When I would wear them, a few times I would forget and think either I had a stroke, coming into house and it's all dark during the day, or one time driving I thought the car dash was becoming defective since it was so dark. I stopped wearing rx sun glasses.
I have had itchy watery eyes a few times I take antihistamines as well ❤
I actually complimented the cashier in Farmfoods today ( Monday) He was very friendly, polite and pleasant. It is so nice to experience that so I let him know how nice he was, it made my day, (a shame it couldn't be said for the Dunhelm staff earlier)
It was a lovely vlog Caroline, not bitty at all, just a really nice, relaxing and inspiring watch. Always enjoy your videos and your grandma comment made me smile. Your wise words at the end of the vlogs are so calming, positive and relatable. Thank you. X
Oh to sit in the sunshine…..enjoy. Your grandmother was before her time…I wear Cocoons over my glasses, great styles and you can get them to fit over whatever size glasses you have. Great words, thank you and so important to remember xx
Loved this Caroline ❤
