This is an extra long video as making raised beds for my vegetable garden was a big job. It took me quite a long time to make the raised beds, prepare the beds, putting the raised beds into place and filling them with compost

My name is Linda, I am a wildlife photographer with a passion for gardening.
I have been gardening since early childhood. I have a small 90m2 garden in the Netherlands, but it is my dream to own a big piece of land with a cottage garden, a large vedgetable garden, orchard, wildflower meadow & forest for wildlife.

Perfection! You are such a neat worker and I love how you have transformed your vegetable patch. Now I am excited to see what you grow there. I have a question; your soil always looks so beautiful to work, like cake crumbs. I remember that you have said it is dead though, due to the burning to get rid of contamination. Will insects and earthworms and such come back eventually to the soil with the addition of compost and other organic matter, like dying plants and decaying leaves and so on? I know that you are a wildlife photographer and seem to know a lot about nature so I hope that’s not a silly question!
