  1. Laura, do you know if butterfly bush are late in breaking dormancy? It might be my first casualty of the season. Ok, second. I took the chainsaw to my dappled willow. Interestingly, the base was all rotted. I just had to kick the stump to get it out of there.

  2. I am a few weeks ahead of you in Maryland, zone 7a. Everything looks gorgeous in your garden.
Unfortunately, the voles decided to eat a lot of my Little Leo’s this year. Voles are worse than deer and rabbits, in my opinion.

  3. I was so excited to find Tete-a-Tete in pots at Home Depot. I planted them and really hoping they come back next spring.

  4. Pretty sure I lost 4 phenomenonal lavender this year. I believe winter was to wet.

  5. Love to see your garden tours Laura! What does your CandyTuft look like in the hot summer? Is it in full sun or partial shade? Is the plant as pretty without the blooms in the heat? I've been wanting to get a few of these but wasn't sure how it held up. I'm in Baltimore 7b. Does it get woody and split like the heathers and heaths can?

  6. Lovely. My mother told me that early dandelions were picked for salad decades ago in central Wisconsin. Then of course there was dandelion wine. Another trash to treasures story.

  7. I was so excited to see your Blue Star Juniper that I had to go out and get me one. I also bought a dwarf Mugo Pine. I hope I do not kill them. I have never had these before so I am hoping that I can keep them alive. I have to water them every other day until they are established. I love those Candy Tuffs so I may look for those next. We cannot plant until after Mother's Day for the perinneals. Wish me luck. Love your garden and your channel.

  8. Love the spring beds. I don’t usually subscribe to gardeners out of my zone was 5 now changed to 6, but I enjoyed this so much I want to see more. Thanks for the names of the plants.
