  1. G'day Everyone, I hope you are all doing well! Even though we do have a few acres, I still love growing in containers and it's amazing how much you can grow in a small space. Every little bit helps especially during periods like this when food prices are rising. All the best and thanks for your support. I'll be trying to answer/acknowledge as many comments as I can over the next few days. Cheers 🙂

  2. Thanks for the informative video! However, I would like to ask if I can grow this plant indoors in a pot all year around without harvesting It all?

  3. Fresh ginger tea and eating the used up portions afterwards seems to help me with sinus congestion.

  4. I dont know what kind of Makrtr he's been to but the price for ginger in UK is this:
Ginger is between US$ 3.55 and US$ 3.71 per kilogram or between US$ 1.61 and US$ 1.68 per pound(lb). The price in British pound sterling is GBP 2.56 per kg.

  5. I am shocked that ginger is so expensive in Australia.. I pay like 9$ per kg of organic ginger here o.o

  6. I don't agree on the light exposure too much, ginger prefer shade and can suffer from direct sunlight for too many hours.

  7. It's not worth it. Spending soil, fertilizer, and water for more than 8 months to grow a few pounds of ginger.

  8. Many thanks and multiple 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍. I just harvested a little of the ginger I planted many months ago and it is beautiful and now in the biryani. I’ll leave the rest to develop but had to acknowledge your great advice!

  9. I live in Poland and think growing ginger would perfectly fit my crazy Polish guavas&citrus&bananas&palms&etc plantation. Thank you for sharing this inspirational video!

  10. PS excellent video but for those in a cold climate N Europe a few added tims.
Also after soaking drying and then cutting when you plant Then soak soil but afterwards do Not water unless bone dry for 2 weeks and also have it above the radiator so soil is 25 degrees plus.
NB also watch out for neutered or irradiated ginger !

  11. Just about to plant my store brought ginger first time ever here goes lol
