What an amazing garden center. Why don't the California garden centers carry Proven Winners? I usually find one variety in a store but I have to order most online from Home Depot with their free shipping.

I too wish Proven Winner was more available in more nurseries and big box stores in Cali, especially So Cal. The Proven Winners plants I can find and select in person, I buy because they are dependable beauty all season long until fall. Enjoy your trip!🪴

I love visiting Wyntour Gardens anytime my husband and I visit my mother in law. It’s such a fun place! I’m telling my husband we need to drive up and surprise her for Mother’s Day and take her for the PW special event. How fun! 🥰

I still think supertunia bubblegum is the best. I even left a small piece in a pot against back fence took the winter . Louisiana Slidell, we had 28 degrees it is in full bloom. I love it 🥰 👍👏
I don’t understand why more local garden centers don’t sell proven winners annuals. You would think by 2023, with how much proven winners has blown up just in the last five years, I would think every garden center across this country would have them in stock! But they really don’t! The only place I can find them is the big stores like Home Depot or Lowe’s, and this year I didn’t see ANY proven winners annuals in my Lowes and my Home Depot had very few. I live in New Orleans and there was one local garden center in my area that actually had some proven winners annuals last year and they were sooooo cheap! They had the 1 gallon supertunias for only $7 a gallon!!! I mean, that price is so good! You can’t find a 4.5 can of proven winners for under 10.99 online! So I feel like if the local garden centers did start getting in proven winners annuals, they would be a lot cheaper

Ok, on the subject of Bougainvillea's, I tried planting a small plant in a hanging basket under a tree. I live in the high hot desert in California, and it died.
So, I found out it needs a deep pot, yes?
I had such a great idea, but it didn't work. Help.

I would be over the moon to have a nursery like that near me that sold proven winners annuals. The proven winner nursery by me is soooo sad. They have a handful of things to sell. So disappointing.

Wow. This is a beautiful place. After watching this video, I stopped off here on my drive home to Sonoma. Found some awesome plants. FYI-before you go there for the Proven Winners annuals shown in the video, call first. All those plants were NOT FOR SALE when I stopped by on Thursday.
So jelly!! Gaaah! I wish I could get up there for the event. Oh well, we can't have everything, all the time. PW isn't carried on the central coast of CA, special order only at our local nursery. Super excited to see how your new plantings go. I can confirm Superbena Imperial Blue does great in the heat.
