The Garden Waits For Nothing! Explaining Bokashi System/Benefits

Greg and I are battling a respiratory virus that is taking us down a couple of notches but the garden waits for no one. We are still pushing forward and praising the Lord for what he has given us. Pray for our health and healing.

  1. My family has that same respiratory infection here in Florida. It is rough. We are going on two weeks. Hope you are feeling better very soon.

  2. Looks like we'll get a little rain today. Our part of the Hill Country reminds me of Moses parting the Red Sea. We have rain to the right of us, rain to the left of, barely any in our area.
Inspite of this we're keeping our little garden going. I've ordered shade cloth for this Summer.
Thanks Jill for showing us your progress. Feel better.
Remember ya'll to Pray, Plan, Prep

  3. Like always Jill you have everything looking amazing and I hope you and Greg get to feeling better soon.🙏🏻😊

  4. This year, is my first year in a LONG time that I walk out and look in amazement and joy with the things growing in my garden. I'm not used to that. A hand full of beans here, an half eaten tomato there…on the ground, with just a few blooms on the plants. A mowed down pepper plant. But, not this year! Each day I walk out and see baby tomatoes, beans here, and beans there…I have THREE peppers, now that I have covered them. I chuckle, and ask..Lord, you are going to have to teach me how to take care of this harvest that's coming..I'm not used to seeing this. The last few years, I didn't even bother to get my canning jars out..Now, where did I put those things? 🤔🤔😆😆

  5. Thanks to you, the Sluggo + saved my tomato plants from pill bugs too! The pill bugs never bothered my garden much before but this year was different. I’m in Houston.

  6. Darn it Jill, sorry y'all are under the weather and here's hoping Pop's doesn't get it. Garden looking SO GOOD!🫑🧅🥬Take extra care & rest when you can luvs!! ☕🥰

  7. Prayers for healing for you both…I (Ohio)have been sick with bronchitis and then pneumonia for 4 weeks now. I have been drowning myself in mullein (sp?) tea. The coughing and junk in my chest is the worse.
    Love you both❤️❤️❤️

  8. Bless you and your hubby! Sending prayers for healing. Drink up some of that hearty healthy bone broth you make! Your garden looks fantastic! What a blessing! My garden is off to a great start as well! Much love!😊

  9. Make you and Greg some elderberry syrup . It will help heal and take care of the cough and is all natural . I love your tomatoes . I am not going to get as much of a garden in as I have done in the past due to health issues. My husband tries to help but he is not a gardener , he is a chef .

  10. Praying for healing for you and Greg. My garden is doing wonderful in this weather. So thankful.

  11. I’m making tons of horehound tea, tincture and cough syrup. I’m not sick, I just want it on hand because I don’t trust big pharma. I hope y’all get over the crude soon. Garden looks amazing as always. ❤❤

  12. So sorry to hear that you and Greg are having respiratory issues at this time. Praying you get over it quickly. Love to see how your garden is growing. Looks like you will have a great harvest from all you have planted. God’s blessings on both of you! ❤

  14. Praying for y’all to get better 🛐✝️💟
If you have any processed foods you might want to not eat them.
They are using those chemicals to make us sick.
That’s is why those chemicals are banned in Europe.
I’ve been taking Juice Plus and that’s helping me stay healthy.
Nothing like plants to keep us healthy 🙌🏼✝️
Love ya and God bless! Get well soon!!!

  15. I do hope you are feeling better soon. Your garden is looking very good, especially those tomatoes!. Almost everything is growing lushly in Johnson County this spring thanks to the mild weather, and so glad to see that. I normally have difficulty growing cilantro but it's growing like a weed this spring. I'm trying a new squash called Blonde Beauty (FEDCO), a summer squash that I started indoors. It matures in 40 days and I'm hoping it will bring home a decent harvest before the squash pests get their act together. The plants already have baby squash, so I'm hopeful. I started another early squash, Eight Ball Zucchini, at the same time, but it's running a bit behind Blonde Beauty although officially it's also a 40-day squash. The incoming cold temps could throw them off schedule, but I have some fleece cover handy.

  16. Sorry to hear that you guys are feeling puny. I’ve been a bit under the weather the past couple of weeks. I attribute it to pollen and maybe sinus issues. Hope that you get to feeling better soon! We ordered from the Survival Garden Seed Company. The selection is excellent and I’m trying to get some things in the ground this week! Thank you for the video! God bless!

  17. I know how you feel and hope you're feeling better very soon. Hubby and I have been sick over 2 weeks now and just starting to feel a bit better. I'm so pleased the the garden is doing so well for you as you all work so hard.💚💙💚

  18. Hey Jill the garden looks amazing. Sorry yawl feel bad, we use fermented honey and garlic and it helps. We will put you and Greg on our daily prayer list. So you direct sowed your okra in the ground. We started by seed. I might try that next season. Agree with the weather for this summer, last year was the worst we've seen in many years. Get well soon and many prayers to yawl. God bless.
