  1. Q: Why eggs and bunnies for Easter?
A: When the Roman Empire adopted Christianity as the official religion of the Roman Empire they combined Christian events with preexisting pagan holidays. Easter was combined with a fertility festival and eggs and bunnies are both symbols of fertility.

  2. I am watching on 1.5x speed, and the intro is essentially Yidaki by Paranormal Attack and I thought I was losing my mind.

  3. The only explanation for religious holidays is that someone very wierd was very bored so they made some stuff up and then bunch of people showed up a they either though it was fun or got gaslighted into believing it fun…

  4. Ugh the guillotine baby(i cant remember 100% thats olive right?) purrs like my old lady i miss her

  5. I know they probably won’t end up playing this again but i love these chill game days.
Reminds me of playing games on my family computer with friends and getting a billion virus’ when we were younger lol.
    Total sleepover vibes

  6. YOOO RESTORATION SIM O:
I'm!! studying this!! right now!! I'll have my ecological restoration certification by June!!!

  7. I'm procrastinating on writing a report for my wetlands class right now so when Julia said "how do I make… wetlands?" at 2:05:49 I suddenly panicked

  8. Since no one seems to have mentioned it, and in case anyone is actually curious; Christian holidays largely have pagan traditions to thank for any of their fun aspects. The dour attitude of traditional Christians was not particularly appealing to the myriad 'barbarian' peoples they were in the process of converting to Christianity. While political advantages were appealing to the leaders, it was more effective to persuade the general populace to convert if they were allowed to retain their fun festivals. While I am sure the clergy was begrudging about it, they were willing to make this compromise–probably hoping the traditions would die out in time. Unfortunately for them, most people actually like fun… so they stuck around and spread.

  9. "Time flies when you're toasting grass" both sit quietly for a moment

  10. god i hope they play this again ! ive never felt more backseat gamer rage then during this game, it was wild
i really wanna play it myself 😀

  11. Wait, I just realised they can put down fynbos. There's no way the devs aren't from Cape Town lol

  12. As a South African, the pronunciation of Fynbos was so incredibly amusing.

(it’s fain bauss, it’s an Afrikaans word meaning “fine bush”)

  13. I'm trans and take T injections, but I've also had a phobia of needles since I was little, and watching you guys play games helps distract me so I can do it and not be wimpy and scared about it :3

  14. Yells at chat for telling them to read the description
    Does not read the description
Yells at deer for going where the description said they would go

  15. Normally when Julia does lil voices it sounds like Julia doing lil voices but the 57:54 "Let's do a juice cleanse" sounded like a whole nother woman

  16. This is two hours of a pair of professional artists who can't figure out how to color in the lines. It's incredibly frustrating watching them max a single irrigator at the expense of a complete covering, leaving toxic holes everywhere, not bothering to read, and can't piece together the order the buildings need to be placed. Just. ARGH!

  17. This was painful to watch. Just put down the buildings instead of hovering around the map for 5 minutes, and just read the animal descriptions. And if you don’t like leaving a bunch of empty patches stop putting down the irrigators based on numbers alone.

  18. My favorite aunt didn't want to be a Great Aunt to my son. She said it made her sound old. We settled on awesome. She was awesome aunt Linda. I miss her so damn much.
