Planting asparagus in no-dig garden | Homesteading on one acre

This is our first spring on this property and we are setting up no-dig garden beds. We have brassica seedlings in the ground and now let’s plant asparagus in a no-dig garden bed. I have two varieties to plant purchased from our local Trastor Supply Co, which are mary washington asparagus and a purple variety called purple passion.

Follow along as we develop our homestead on one acre of land.

  1. Well young lady, I can see you love Asparagus, as so do myself! Yet be advised, it is a 3 year first crop! But please don`t be discouraged as once they get going you will have them for years to come! May God bless your efforts and your family!
