On the subject of using leaf mulch from my yard for beds can it just go over mulched beds consisting of what is delivered from landscape supply by the truck load or purchased from big box garden centers by the bag. Now the real question is can the leaves be 100 percent oak. I hear all kind of talk about the acid content of this material. Also wondering about the acid content of oak leaves being mulched by the mower on the lawn. Or shred and spread very thinly over entire lawn in fall. Thanks
